Don't forget to understand that China is the definition of "safety". Nowadays, all anyone wants is safety. What can anyone even do, outside of China?

Ugh, as someone who works in surveillance, I hate Chinese Mainlander. They're so accustomed to the safety in Mainland that they are oblivious to potential danger. They leave their purse on the chair behind their back. They even leave money unattended. Guess who work their ass off to locate the thieves to retrieve the items for them.

China's wine culture is very complex. Taking Moutai as an example, the Chinese say that Moutai usually refers to the "Feitian Moutai" product produced by Moutai Group(located in Moutai town), the price is about 2700 yuan per bottle which is very expensive, but many other wineries will also call their products Moutai, because their wine are also produced in Moutai town, which can attract consumers and raise the price of wine. In fact, even the Moutai Group itself will produce a lot of cheap Moutai wine to occupy the low-end market. Judging from the packaging, what you drunk is not real Moutai, after all, real Moutai is too expensive and difficult to buy. Real Moutai usually won't give you a headache, this is a surprising fact I found after drinking real Moutai.

Sounds like a champagne vs Champagne argument to me that I'm not qualified to participate in haha. My two cents though, if people genuinely think that drinking something with 53% alcohol can't dehydrate you and make you feel bad the next day because it's "good quality" then their marketing teams deserve a raise.

@@thejourneyofjake Not only Maotai but also other Chinese alcohol, according to my decades of drinking experiences, good alcohol truly can make you feel better the next day. Of course, feeling bad is inevitable after drinking too much, but good alcohol won't cause the headache.

I would love to learn how to fly a drone like that and capture amazing aerial footage like you did at the end of your "firsts" series. And I absolutely loved the distinctly Chinese instrumental piece at the end to accompany the 4K footage of Xiamen Uni.

Thanks for the kind words! I really like editing those sequences , took me ages to find a good song to go with it. Drone technology is so advanced nowadays it doesn't take long to get the hang of flying one and once you do it's quite a fun little hobby. If you have questions I'm happy to answer them 😊

Mate, I hope when the time is right, you can make a fair and balanced assessment on the homeless situation in Xiamen vs your native Melbourne. As its former longtime resident (per early 2012), I do think Melbourne was doing very well in this aspect save for a few spots like Spencer St / Flinders St train station and Latrobe St. I did spot a couple of them there. Just like it, Xiamen is also widely known as the most livable city there is in China. This obviously makes me rather curious. 😁

@@hsheuw it’s a mystery to me as well. I guess everyone has something to eat and some places to live, some savings in time of need, some people or communities to be relied upon, and the Chinese culture of despising people living on the streets? I know one thing for sure though, that is, governments do provide some allowance to people who are struggling.

luckin coffee always have new types to have new or curious customers, actually the newest type coffee like the red wine in the video might not always be delicious.they just try to make something new to guess the market demand.if it sells good they will keep selling it and if not the type will be replaced by otrhers.have you ever tried the 生椰拿铁?it sells well in the serval years and was thought tobe the symbol of luckin coffee.
