lol OK You were the ONLY one who got the song buffs right! Everybody had been saying that 'you no longer need a target for song buffs' and, while true, it's misleading. You don't need a target but you DO need to be in combat. Nice catch!

Only complaint is that Troubador is still lvl 62 meaning we don’t have sheilds below StB content unlike MCH and DNC who get their shields at lvl 58 which suuuucks when I get HW patch content in roulettes.

Current refulgent arrow that you get at lvl 70 mind you does 280 potency. So what im seeing here is the reduced the dmg to 220 from lvl 70-94 gave you a trait to bring it back to what it was prior?

One thing I hope they still add is starting duties with full soul voice gauge and/or codas. Missing a big part of your burst on pull feels shitty especially considering finale being weaker than technical finish and divination on pull because reasons. I think a ramping cd like finale can be cool, but if they want to go down that route I think it needs to be stronger than similar effects (e.g. technical finish and divination), not you start of worse and then become equal to the others. I know technical finish is 5% compared to full coda finale 6% but you get the point.

I have bitched and moaned about wide volley getting removed for YEARS. Never thought I'd see it again. Always thought it should've been the upgrade to quick nock since they do the same thing. To see it come back, but as a fucking low level skill I'll basically only ever see if I happen to take bard into the leveling roulette is incredibly disappointing and a slap in the face tbh.

Anybody remember machinists' Heartbreak? Those were the days... That is a LOT of visual effects going into Heartbreaker Shot for a 160 potency filler oGCD... And Radiant Encore looks too much like a machinist satellite laser (same for dancer's new Saber Dance upgrader Dance of the Dawn, a little bit)

In any game I play, I get made fun of for playing Bard no matter how good it is. It's still my main job and my favorite class in the entire expanse of RPG history. I just love the idea that my songs change other characters and inspire them to be badass.

Never played this game before. Thought about it since I like archers but then I found that some idiot dev decided to make it an instrumental class that plays fricking music. Someone at me when they split the classes into their own stuff. A standalone ranger archer and whatever the frick they do with the bard is whatever don’t care but remove it from the archer class. Thanks.

I can live with keeping the songs on a 120sec CD with no way to reset after a death. Song timers are still gonna be rigid but the change to songs not needing a target fixes song drift on downtime at least. But are we all really ok with Empyreal Arrow not getting a 2nd charge? I would have also liked to see Battle Voice and Radiant Finale combined to reduce button bloat (seriously when will you even use them not in the same weave window) but that's another thing.

​@@OilFreeFeathers Depends on how you use it. MCH for example, I love me some Drill and I see what they're going for by adding a charge to it. But if you called that move lazy I couldn't argue it at all, I agree using it that way is lazy. But for BRD the biggest complaint at the higher end is how rigid the rotation is. Adding a 2nd charge to Empyreal Arrow arguably one of it's most powerful tools would add a much needed level of flexibility.

A cooldown reduction would help too, say 110 seconds to help line things up if something goes wrong

@@xeno942 I would like to see MB and AP with just shorter cooldowns (say 90 and 60 respectively or just 80 for both) and a short RF cooldown (say 40 seconds) . Instead square decides to invest more in the burst and leave the remaining 100 seconds of the rotation barren.
