I've been listening to lots of your videos lately and get great value from them. Thanks for that. Here's a question unrelated to getting clients: What image size (MB and dimensions) do you end up sending clients for MLS after all editing etc.? That's been kind of hard to find on youtube, and it would be good to know to avoid using larger files than needed while also keeping them standard and good quality.

Thanks for watching! I export once. Full res, max file size 3000kb, 300dpi, resize long edge to 2880, sharpness for screen, don’t enlarge. Then I upload to HDPhotoHub (use code “32052” for $50 worth of free credits!) and then deliver. They’ll give the clients the option to download full res or MLS sized images. If you don’t use HDPhotoHub (which you should), you’ll have to export twice, and the other one max file size around 1500kb, 140dpi, don’t enlarge.

@@reallyjordanhorn Thanks! Wow, only 3mb? Very small as far as digital images go. Smaller than default smart phone photos. I've built my business around delivery on Spiro.

For context I’m 17 years old and I just started my REP business. I haven’t done any legal work to register my business, I’m not sure how or have the money. I just need some guidance because I fear I lose tons of credibility and value because of this plus I’m also young.

Hey there - unfortunately, real estate photography, and starting a business in general, isn’t something that you can do on a really bootstrapped budget. Everything takes money to do. Getting your part 107 drone license is like $150 *per attempt* at taking the test, getting your LLC is gonna be another $250, getting a camera setup will be, at the very least, $1000, and that doesn’t include buying a drone, a sturdy tripod - etc. I know this isn’t what you probably want to hear, but if you want to take your REP business seriously, you might have to work another real job to save up cash in order to invest in your business.
