These are pretty cool. I kinda stopped collecting Hot Wheels myself in the early '70s, did buy some for my son in the early to mid '90s. Now for REAL Camaros I've owned 6, so far, a couple of '67s, a '74, a brand new '84 Z28 and a brand new '85 IROC-Z 5.0 Tuned Port Injection and a '87 IROC-Z 5.7 TPI. When I ordered my '85 they only came in 5 colors black, white, red, yellow and bright blue metallic. I went with the bright blue metallic with silver decals and black interior. :)

I agree that this is a cool casting. It's a little bit sad that the later releases don't have the same taillight details as the earlier releases.

Thank you for doing this video, there are some variations I didn't know about. @10:54 is a perfect interpretation of the real IROC's between 1985 and '86. The paint process changed in 1986 and the bright blue (23U) was a little darker (car on right), and the original bright blue (30L) for the '85 IROC was a touch lighter (car on left).

I’m back. I finally got my hands on 2 real riders. I’m considering a third. But it’s time for an update video now. They have new color way (maroon or burgundy) and I believe another color way coming soon. I hear that may be a blue with white lines down the middle. Look forward to an update video. I don’t have all versions yet to make my own video so I’ll sit back and watch for now.

Had a m2 raw chase iroc z Coca Cola at Christmas and traded it for a Hotwheels I’d love to find a premium of this casting with factory paint or at least a cool one with a aftermarket paintjob in the Hotwheels line up
