Complete dash cam footage of a MONSTER tornado!!

This is the complete dash camera footage from 5/26/24 of the monster EF3 tornado that started forming in Calvert City, Kentucky and tracked all the way east to Morton's Gap, Kentucky. Extensive damage was done while violent winds tore through communities. With me was Chris Evans, (Kentucky_wx on X) and he helped guide us while I drove along side this massive tornado. This video has been edited and some parts have been sped up due to length of video. NOT shown is most of the damage and us helping out with search and rescue in Morton's Gap, I did not feel that it was appropriate to show. 😆 I promise it’s not as scary as you think when you know what you’re doing. It’s more heart wrenching than anything because you know people’s lives are being effected 🥺

wasnt this a different tornado separate from the eddysville kentucky tornado it was a strong ef5 on the scale there was 2 different tornado please correct me if

No, the same tornado. It was rated a high end EF3.

With education and knowing how to safely track this close it can be done! Residents were given plenty of advance notice to seek shelter thankfully.
