I love you, Jaime, because you do show the real stuff what's like to be a mom and things aren't perfect and they ALL can't be done on the same day. Some KZbinrs will title their video " Get it all done in one day" while having four small children when I know that's impossible without having a nanny and maid on the premises. And, I know they edit to make it appear it can be done. Dishonest with their viewers. I'm a mom a four young adults but know when they were little as yours, it was impossible to get it all done in one day. I had to bathe like a bird while I had a toddler and a newborn. I love watching your videos because I feel like I can relate to you so much more than some of the other KZbin moms when it comes to decorating! When I first started watching cleaning videos for motivation, I started feeling pretty terrible about how my house was not “Pinterest or instagram worthy” as far as decorations go. And I was always ok with that before because that’s not my thing either! But a clean home is my thing and I love how you are just you and don’t try to conform to that culture I see with KZbin moms of wanting Pinterest worthy seasonal decorations! Nothing is wrong with that either if that is your thing! Sometimes I wish I was more like that, but when I watch your videos, I’m like nah it’s ok I’m fine just the way I am!

Love your channel. Cleaning question, my master bath shower floor is "textured" not smooth. What kind of cleaner and or device would you use to get soap scum and build up off? i have recently deep cleaned the shower door and the tracking looks brand new. The bottom of the shower just looks gross still.

You and I are in very similar career paths, to an extent. I also went to school for teaching, subbed for years and never "broke into" a school system as a full time teacher. After that, I ended up in retail for a while, but now have a job in a huge company that I love the mission of. I still work customer service but would love to be involved in training new employees. As disappointed as I was that I never got a teaching job, after that last year and a half pandemic...i'm so grateful. I am under much less stress and less risk of getting sick!

I have food mess on my curtain in my sunroom from my stepdaughters birthday party in November. She is 13. Its just one panel. lol I dont know how it got done nor do I want to know. I really really got to get my kitchen cabinets cleaned up. Haven't done that in months and with a husband who sets off a bomb every single time he cooks I gotta get that done! lol My home is a disaster too not feeling so great but I will be going through as many rooms as I can stand today and just picking up and putting things away. Congratulations to your Mom’s retirement!! That’s great!! Our basement isn’t finished, but we have 5 bedrooms ( one room is a sitting room no closet which is my husband’s office) the smallest room was my kids playroom and it worked out really well. As they got older, the toys became less and we made it into a guest room. Best of luck house hunting! 🙂

You motivate me so much... my problem is I don't have homes or the space you have so I just have stuff everywhere. It's so frustrating and I'm so overwhelmed I don't know what to do. I'm 65 widowed disabled ( my back) raising my 3 grandsons... and it seems like it takes me forever to do anything. Where do I start and what do I do? I wish I could fly you to me... you are the best at cleaning and organizing in my opinion! Keep up the great work!!😀🥰

Hi Terri! It’s definitely tough when you don’t have a lot of space. I’m assuming since you were raising your three grandsons, you have a lot of extra stuff, as well. If a lot of stuff is for them, maybe you just know that you’re going to have a lot of extra stuff until they get a little bit older? I know that’s not very helpful but for me sometimes I have areas that I know are cluttered or a mess but I know it’s not long-term. My best piece of advice for you, especially because it seems like you have a lot and it takes you a long time to do, just focus on one area at a time. Don’t put a ton of pressure on yourself to get a whole room done and a weekend. Sit down and make a list of all of the places that you want to D clutter and organize, and then start on that first one. Don’t put a timeline on it. Just work on it when you can. You are one person you cannot do it all!

Hi! New here! At work cleaning up and found your video for motivation. I also struggle with toys and I have one child...tried to make his room the toy room and it was a disaster, why are kids toys so HUGE???? I made a shelf wall in my basement and moved all the toys down there and rotate them up. I still struggle with so many toys but.... for now, I deal. Thanks for the video!

We are in the process of buying a new house. We have outgrown ours and now both husband and I are working at home full time. We need our own spaces. We will be moving to Colorado from Texas, and this will be my first time ever having a basement. I’m super excited to have the opportunity to have all the toys on a different level than the main living area. We currently have a ranch. So many changes.
