Such a cool build!! What type of material did you use over the plywood to give it that laminate flooring look? Looks very modern. Also, for the electric, did you run it from the breaker box on its own circuit or just tap into the closest outdoor outlet?

It actually was LVP flooring nailed to the plywood haha. I just realized that I completely forgot to show that - but I have a dedicated video on that process on my channel. For electric, I added a new dedicated circuit in my panel. Thanks for watching!

Im curious, I saw you recommended connecting the wooden frame to the concrete base. What is an ideal depth for the base? And how long did it take to build. I assume you were with two people?

Did you need a permit for this project? Where I live there would be some busybody making sure its not too close to the property line or something.

I had an existing shed so I just built right on top of the existing slab. But if I was building from scratch with a new foundation, I would have needed one

I would say metal - but it’s more expensive and has a more difficult installation!

I would guess around 4k (which is about what I paid for it two years ago) since the lumber was still pretty inflated when I bought. Lumber prices have calmed down a bit but everything else probably went up.

I love this project! You did such an excellent job. I have a preexisting concrete slab in the back that I bet prior owners had a shed on. I'd like to build a greenhouse there! I am sure I would need help but it would be very worth it.

Great job I have a question about the flooring.i am planning on building a new shed for my auto shop with my snap on box it’s heavy and wondering on what I can use for the flooring that can handle the weight of my box full of tools..any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Why did you build it just on the concrete without platform?

I had a bunch of pressure treated 4"x4" boards that I was trying to use up. In hindsight though, I wish I just framed the walls directly on the concrete.
