Yes, the sirocco build is honestly busted. Any crit dmg, cold procs, increased dmg to enemies effected by cold, double status chance and bombastine's malice as Ifidio2 pointed out is just insanely good and will wipe crouds of enemies instantly.

In Normal Spire i always grabb the 200% damage on first shot after reload, because that let the Sirocco's powerreload shot oneshot all but the Thrax units, those you need either the 400% dmg on reload shots, or doubble crit damage to oneshot. On steel Path, this lets you two shot most enemies. The Sirocco is an amazing amp, always has been.

Man I love how ridiculous decree stacking can be. One of my first runs I picked my Rubico Prime but didnt use it till the very end in the wyrm fight. The first shot I fired at the rings was a 18 mill crit and I just sat there for a few seconds with my mouth open xD

i have found bombastine's malice to be an incredibly good early option for drifter before you get a bunch of the melee mods, the toxin procs shred dax in steel path.

I was given Mesa on a steel path circuit run and within the first three decrees I maxed Irresistible Bombardment, I’ve never felt more like an A-10 Warthog with Mesa.

I'd recommend maxing opportunity first. The buffs will help you farm intrinsics faster. If you're a new player that's struggling, go for the combat and endurance.

Had an incredible SP Circuit run last night with Garuda and Close Contagion/Bombastine's Malice. Her 4 was killing groups of armored enemies without requiring a single shot from me, as all the slash and toxin procs bounced between each other. Also how I learned that the talons can headshot!

On a lark, I was picking all the "On roll do a thing" (status proc, cold blast, etc.) and rolling up to or even past a fresh group of baddies would stack a bunch of procs and dots on them, softening them up considerably for follow-up. Perhaps not the most efficient method, but sometimes Efficiency likes to just sit back and watch Fun play for a while.

It's so good! Reach & speed with a seemingly high critical chance on Drifter. And being a single blade, the animations are so much crisper & impactful compared to Sun & Moon, which just... it wiffs a lot, like the weapon has a grudge against open air.

Bombastine's Malice is actually super good. Sometimes you can hit the head with Melee and obviously Ranged means you can specifically aim. Even spamming out hits can make for a lot of Toxin Procs all over the place and thus get foes dying very handily, on top of any CO scaling that can be found with decrees or weapon modding.

Malice is godlike. Any weapon with a decent fire rate/multi just explodes all of the circuit. I have been hammering SP circuit and it’s incredible. I don’t know on Duviri though.

So irresistible bombardment affects your drifter melee. If you have other sources of attack speed to reach the .5s limit it then adds 300% att-speed. Noticed this earlier today while messing with the power strike for att-speed decree.

I would've put Close Contagion in general A tier. In seems that whenever I have this as Drifter, I kill 1 in enemy in a group and rest of the group just dies from status effects.

I ranked up to get the Kaithe summon for open world maps. I've been playing for nearly a decade. I just slapped that thing over my K-Drive because *screw that thing*. I honestly just did it for RP/aesthetic purposes. If I'm doing bounties I'll still grab the Archwing because it's just way quicker.

Duelist's advantage is one of the worst decrees. Not only is it not worth to reload after each shot for the damage boost (unless you're using something like a tonkor or vectis), but it also doesn't seem to work with ranger's reload, so you can't just roll to increase your damage. If you ever get ranger's reload you will almost never find yourself reloading normally, so this decree just sits there and does nothing. There are weapons it is useful on but with how many options there are you can't really guarantee you will get them. A better way to make your sirocco (and warframe weapons that you use in the undercroft) absolutely melt everything is combining bombastine's malice, ranger's reload, irresistible bombardment, and the one that gives you more damage the more you shoot one enemy. This combination of decrees just ensures that you can always fire away with your sirocco, and since you get more and more firerate you can hit more headshots, triggering bombastine's malice and melting every other enemy that you are not currently shooting. A single rank in each is enough, but if you choose to rank them up you can even oneshot groups of enemies on the steel path.

To be fair, a roguelike/lite mode has to have options that are bad, suboptimal, or very niche in order to clutter up rewards. Having to make the most of the random rewards you get is a key part of the gameplay loop for roguelikes/lites. The lucky runs where you ball out of control more and more are certainly fun, but the challenge and randomness is what makes games like Binding of Isaac so evergreen.

Frame options reset if you just finish one round then extract, and if you can't do a single SP run with Oberon maybe don't do SP. He's not a great Frame, but unless your build is trash you can at LEAST stay alive with Renewal. Smite infusion makes his 1 actually kind of useful, etc.

I like adding all the status decrees, using the cold procs plus the 150 damage, then using others to add onto the damage if theyre already under a status effect really stacks the damage on quick. Ive also found that contagion clouds often do well with adding damage upon damage. Also when you get a Battacor and irresistible bombardment maxxed is just fun.

My expectations were absolutely shattered with this update. They should rename this: Warframe 2: The Duviri Paradox. I absolutely love what they've created. DE Congratulations on your hard work. It was well worth the wait. Absolutely incredible update. I'm hyped for the Echos update and the new frame. Blown.Away. I maxed Opportunity immediately. I wanted Stalker. The others could wait. I wanted to play him for a decade. Was not disappointed.

1. warframe and drifter gameplay needs to have completely diffrent Decrees. 2. there needs to be a JUST DRIFTER 100% mode, because THATS the fun new part that actually works here, and have a ton of other decrees added. 3. Circuit needs alot of fixing, like beeing able to swap focus school and a complete overhaul of the decrees to work for actual warframes and abilities, primary and secondaries, not be drifter/melee focused almost exclusively (a few examples are stuff like power strength/duration and especially range scaling for warframes to create hilarious and UNIQUE results. Ammo Efficiency, bouncing bullets, exploding bullets, Armor/shield stripping Bullets, multishot+spread decrees for primaries and secondaries to creat these insane results that roguelike experiences SHOULD provide where you can cover the whole screen in bullets at some point.) ((you can then think even more outside the box and provide decrees and weapons with hidden tags, so some decrees only show up when you have a specific kind of weapon time, like beam weapons for example, where you can get a flux and then have decrees that that increases beam length and maybe even beam hitbox size, turning your fluxrifle into a rediculous 5m² Kamehameha Death Laser.))

As someone who completed exactly one Duviri experience run without the bonus health (because somewhere a third into the run, it randomly disabled itself due to some kind of bug and I went all the way back to 250 health from having over 400), I agree with the notion that it's doable but unpleasant. Whether or not you can do it really depends on your decrees. If you get the stacking speed one as well as some healing, most enemy encounters can be trivialized.

You should makena separate tierlist geared for Circuit Specifically. Cause I can tell you that Close Contagion is an easy S Tier when you're only using your frame weapons. It turns single target weapons into nukes. Try to get a run using it with a Tenet Flux Rifle. It's absurdly powerful.

Having played the game a bit more since this came out, the holy trinity for any gun build is getting ranger's reload to reload your gun on a roll, Irresistible Bombardment which will ramp up your attack speed every time you attack, and Nimble gunner which will increase your ammo efficiency on a roll. This combo turns your gun into an automatic weapon that can ramp out a ton of damage and build up a ton of attack speed during your ammo efficiency boost, it works incredibly well with most of the other gun effects, and lets you maintain a lot of the other good decrees like the one that requires you to be mobile. Its, in my opinion, the only way the gun is ever outperforming the Melee weapon, and is incredibly good in the end game boss fight or undercroft, as opposed to Melee which tends to be less impactful at those stages.

I think you didn’t check Close contagion. Any status weapon in undercroft or coupling with dot status decree becomes area nuke. While your s class decrees kill just 1 enemy with 23557 billion damage

Irresistable bombardment is super underrated. It applies on melee swings, making you swing as fast as you can press the button with sun&moon and other similarly fast melees (need other swing speed buff for slower melees though). also shreds wyrms instantly with high right of fire guns.

Stalker is very good. His kit is basically Ashe on roids and he also has a better default build than any other frame in the game, with the full umbral set, a few primed mods and also two max ranked arcanes. He can absolutely wreck even high level SP circuit, so I'd say not a bad investment, though of course maybe still not what you should be going for until you got some other vital unlocks.

I disagree with several of the tier assignments for the decrees. Luscina's Suffering should 100% be in S tier, specifically because applying cold to nearby enemies can interact so heavily with different decrees. Alone it's not worth it but 1 or 2 other decrees and suddenly you're healing up a ton or buffing your damage significantly in different circumstances. Sirroco headshot builds are also way more powerful than melee imo, especially with Bombastine's Malice (Which imo should be A Tier) and can wipe out entire squads effortlessly.

Stalker has one busted ability, which is Nyx Absorb on steroids, and a 2-ability synergy with Teleport finisher and Marked for Death, and also Smoke Screen.

Something to add relating to getting more Warframe choices, he says it's not that useful as you're likely to get a good choice anyway. But I'd argue that for many, especially newer players, the question isn't if there's a good choice, the question is if there's a choice they've used before, or much. A frame you're familiar with can be more powerful than a "better" frame you've never used. It nice to be able to try new frames, but it's also nice not to be forced to.

When Critical Frost procs (because you got a crit), further hits will be effected by Shattering Frost. I found that Shattering Frost with a source of cold procs was really powerful as it seems like it acts similarly to viral. This would mean that it is a multiplicative damage buff with everything else. Ex: If I do 100 damage and I have Critical Frost (lvl 1) and Shattering Frost (lvl 1), I crit with x2 crit multi, I do ( 100 + (100 x .6 cold) ) x 2 = 320 damage with forced cold proc. The next hit on that target will do 100 x 1.8 = 180 damage if not crit or ( ( 100 + (100 x .6 cold) ) x 2 ) x 1.8 = 576 damage. As this seems to act like viral, and viral is an S tier status effect, I believe that this shouldn't be looked down on if you have a source of cold procs.

Persistent Attrition and Irresistible Bombardment are so strong in The Circuit that they can make virtually any high-fire-rate weapon viable regardless of build. If you're remotely concerned about your ability to kill things in the undercroft with your weapons, consider these decrees.

I would say that Tactical repositioning is good if, and only if, you can get it in SP at the very start. It's guaranteed suitability at the start of a steel path run, but it is only useful at the very start. Once you start getting things like S tier decrees it falls out quickly.

I run experience almost exclusively with Sirocco, some of the decrees can get things absurd like a wiping out whole squads of roamer dax in one or two shots due to spreading status to nearby enemies.

PLEASE READ THIS, havent seen anyone talk about this, you do not need to hit the projectiles to catch the worm, just spam your jump, its speeds you up faster than the worm, you can instantly fly to its head, no need to jump on its back or shoot the projectiles to get the speed boost.

Random note i had irresistable bombardment trigger on the drifter melee. And started swinging. If the follow up swing is within the .3 seconds, you are now swinging spastically faster than volt's speed buffed melee combos. I don't know whether it was because i had the melee hits twice thing or because i shot first then i started swinging. I don't even remember whether irresistible bombardment was maxed or not. But suddenly my drifter was off it's nuts good with melee. And i was concentrating on gun buffs sooooo. No melee decrees except for the 1. I guess crit cold + more damage to cold enemies + enemies nearby are cold status counts. Test as you see fit. I have a much different opinion on the tiers of particular decrees purely for the fact that i was an idiot and went in to each and every duviri experience in steel path, because i was alternating the circuit with TDE. I beat all of them. With the decree damage increase and accidental encounters along the way. And fumbling in the undercroft with garbage built frames i haven't touched in years. But somehow beating them anyway. I still suggest 'don't try this at home' because steel path was not worth it. Why i didn't just leave and start over I'll never know.

A few notes: I disagree about the cold procs to power shattering frost. Not only can it be sourced from your build (obviously), it can *also* be sourced from the already highly excellent critical frost, or tumbling frost if you *must*. It's still ultimately a support tool, but getting one or the other 'tween critical frost and luscinia's sorrow is reliable enough that I often take it without fear if nothing jumps out at me from a lineup. (this is more common for me than you, I think, because a number of my builds do NOT want to get into melee in steel path, not even with some of the fancy tools on offer) Also, you're highly discounting deadly momentum's movement restriction. It is trivial to have it at max power essentially all of the time, even picking decrees very slowly you will find yourself back at max power by the time you get to the objective. It, critically, doesn't care about your inputs, it cares that you are moving. So, for example, you can do an aerial Mesa 4 and it won't start decaying until you come to a stop on the ground. The fact that it stacks additively with your attack intrinsic is by far the more damning element.

So finally getting round to unlocking this definitely got me thinking about something Brozime said the other day about drifter or operator, I think DE is planing for the operator to be phased out soon and personally I think ied be ok with it, the new war kinda brought the kids and Lotus’s story to its end points, yes they could tell more story’s but to quote Bilbo Baggins “”and they lived happily to the end of their days yes that sounds like a fine ending”” I’m paraphrasing but it gets the point, the new war also brought in the drifter that spoiler spoiler spoiler, spoiler, spoiler spoiler, spoiler spoiler spoiler so you could take over and DE could tell their story and looks like they are anyway. Also from an out of game standpoint ied imagine that beating up a grown up will get them less heat than say having our kid operator getting stabbed in the back by a sword that bigger than they are😅

The new update added some new decrees. New S tier decree has 3 ranks oh 15% ability strength for every 50 armor. This can easily mean over 1000% on frames like wukong which lets defy hit in the millions even on the loaner build.

is the 180% shockwave not just way better than regular (drifter) heavy attacking? once i get it, it usually just starts auto-target cleaving entire spawns, if i wasn't up to that point already, makes early game/low intrinsics insanely fast and easy. and if it spreads a status from any of its hits(i'm like pretty sure it pierces), or triggers the headshot proc, the entire area code evaporates. unless its lower because it doesn't really do much if at all in circuit, that would make since. though i'm also on controller so it is much easier to build for than the siricco.

I don't enjoy the drifter gameplay, but steel path circuit is great. If everything in this update could be gained from playing circuit it would have been a 9/10 update.

You must be insane to put Close Contagion as tier C, the thing basically makes so that your status spread status and that spreaded status can spread more status on an infinite loop as long there are things alive in close proximity, basically everything becomes a saryn but in overdrive, i was experimenting with it yesterday and doing any slash damage would make that my 1 slash hit suddenly turned into 50 slash hits and i was nuking stuff cross map with a single hit, i managed to do 50 waves of SP circuit with a excal umbra build for his 3, every time i used the skill i could see stuff getting hit by over 50+ slash procs when the skill usually hits once, that decree is busted.

But it isn’t very useful for the Drifter. It’s great in the crypt specifically which is why it’s in Crypt tier

I literally only every take like 1-2 decrees for Duviri and the rest for undercroft in steel path, the 10% damage and 25 health per decree literally cover drifter combat by themselves.

theres a decree that increases your firerate when you shoot and its stupid with any fast firing weapon with a big magazine, might work for mesa as well

Everyone here saying Bombastines Malice is underrated and while I agree I think its ranking is probably accurate due to its craazy power coming from synergy from other decrees. On its own its pretty much solid

Kinda disagree with the tier list, top 2 best of the best decrees for me is the Cold aura, and +% dmg per enemy affected by status. This pretty much makes you invincible, enemies dont run around too fast and you have like +100-500% dmg buff in combat
