Complete FL Thunderstorm #2 (July 21, 2017)

20:05** - part of bolt visible
20:55*** - reflection of bolt seen as lens artifact
22:09 - thunder followed by sound of small hail
24:52 - part of bolt visible
25:50 - loud, but no lightning visible

The first 3 minutes of the video are clips from both my indoor phone camera and my waterproof outdoor camera, which both have much better resolution than the main camera.
This storm occurred on Friday, July 21, 2017. So it took two years for me to get around to posting this.

Had a pretty bad electrical storm up in Jacksonville the other day. Lightning struck my neighbors pool cage around 250 feet away from me. It scared as I saw the bolt dissipate into a bead pattern. But it got more insane. I was sitting on my porch then my oak tree in my backyard got hit around 30 feet away from me. My ears were ringing for hours after and my house lost power.

We don’t get stuff like this in Northern California. All we get lately is hazy hot sunshine mixed with fire smoke. Variety like this would be really nice for a change.
