@@GamerGrade I'm just at the middle I think where the bridge had been re-aligned by the serpent and new areas unlocked. Next mission is the magic chisel but I need to do the side quest and upgrade myself, I'm only level 4 now. I was wondering what armor set should I go for, some suggested tyrs armor other suggested traveler's. Which do you suggest? I also have musphelheim unlocked do you suggest I tackle that and go for the blazing magma armor? Also is it possible to unlock niflheim at this point? Since I love using runic I love the stats of deadly mist armor. Thank you again for the awesome video!

No problem :) The Traveler set is good if you want better defense, otherwise opt for the Tyr set, which is better for damage and also has 2 extra sockets. Personally i tackled Niflheim first over Muspelheim as just like yourself, i preferred the Cursed Mist set over the Muspelheim sets as it massively boosts Runic and has a HP regen (albeit very slow). You should be able to unlock the realms now. If you can boost your luck over 100 then the Magma set is also very good as its perk will activate most of the time making it very powerful. Finaly someone who understands the the Game mechanics and Not just say "Valkyrie Armor is best" I played the Story 3 times and in every playthrough i have set my "goals" in other abilitys......1 runic, 2 luck, 3 Cooldown and i can say that every ability is very usefull when you understand the mechanics My favorite buildup is a Balance between runic and Cooldown, when you have a Good Number in both you can Spam runic attacks over and over and over 😏😏 then Place 2 things in sockets that give you 25% more frost damage (total 50%) same with Fire damage ....... Fill the other sockets with things that fit your playstyle and you have an Real GOD OF WAR

Very sound tactics Michael, maximising your Runic, Cooldown, Frost and Burn is a surefire way to make mincemeat out of even the toughest enemies (with a bit of skill of course). Playing through the game 3 times you will no doubt understand the mechanics involved to create a superior build. Prioritising Luck is often overlooked and underappreciated, but i can see you picked up on that too, with the correct abilities proccing often to suit your play style, its a complete game changer. Hope you enjoy New Game+ just 5 days away now ;)

GamerGrade luck is definitly a Gamechanger but it doesnt fit my style, i like to come in a Battle with maximum output of damage in Short time..... Im Farming hacksilver, XP and loot on my Platinum Account since yesterday just for the NG+, because in a few Games the money, xp and loot get transfered in the NG+.......do you know what exactly gets transfered in NG+???

Good question Michael, i was asking myself the same thing about preparing for NG+, unfortunately all i know is there is a brand new resource to farm, new armor sets to acquire with a tier superior to Epic, and harder enemies with new move sets. Other than that im in the dark. Your plan to farm HS and XP is sound, maybe also stocking up on the legendary/epic resources from Muspelheim and Niflheim will also be a good idea, as all top tier armor sets requires resources from both of those realms to fully upgrade.

Oh shit. I just started the game last week and at the moment I'm exactly in that platform were you show the effect of permafrost. I have the skill, but wasn't sure how to make it work since this game isn't as combo based as the og trilogy

36:00 I had heard of the Glowing Gem of the Nine before, but I was never sure how to get it. That has to be one of the most difficult items in the game to find, and not just due to the timing required. How powerful and skilled would a player have to be to be able to get 2 Crests of Surtur at such a time in the game? Wouldn't just about anyone be severely under-geared and under-leveled? And incidentally, thank you for helping me get some of the rust off! I just recently picked up a PC copy of GoW, after having beaten it on PS4 a few years ago. It's been a bit, and the refresher course, as it were, is MOST helpful! As a second edit; with regards to the Glowing Gem of the Nine, if you gain access to it by going to Musphellhim early enough, does it STAY in Brok's Musphellheim shop inventory AFTER you reawaken Mimir? Because as mentioned above, I cannot imagine many players would be able to get two Crests of Surtur without being properly geared.

I am in NG+ and I was looking at my stats, and I am a lil bit confused. So share some sage wisdom with me. 1) I am in NG+ and gear/numbers can get really high like 390 strength or 380 runic power or 300 luck and so on. What are the stats cap in NG+ ? 2) do stats become useless if they fill the bar? Example: is luck stuck at 150 or could you increase it to 300 if you have the gear, Cod armor set for example has lots of luck. 3) do perks, that give X stat, still benefit you if you reached the stat cap. My strength is around 390 and my runic is 380, so if I get a perk activation that gives strength and runic, does it still boost my strength and my runic? Example: the blade pommel that gives strength + runic up to 3 times. Do I still benefit from that?

Its been a few years but from what i remember the challenges should already be available by default once you get to Muspelheim,, the shop itself just offers items for purchase.

Tyr’s armor is getting old and I cannot find any better alternatives until I do Niflheim, Muspelheim, finish the main quest (what is the point?) or the beat the Valkeries (too hard now).

What is the green up arrow looking thing to the right of kratos' level in the menu?? Sometimes its red sometimes its blank. Its also by atreus' arrows on the hud. Cant figure this out

Thats the type of 'Resurrection Stone' you have equipped. When you die Atreus will use this to resurrect you, there are three types that give you a different boost after recovery. You can only have one equipped at a time. You buy these from the shops from the 'Buy' menu.
