Thank you Xlice! Finally someone actually talked about TB40 not being the same as AR 40/ 45 in terms of Artifact / Relic grinding.... I was going insane listening to people talking about how bad relic farm is in HSR since they were comparing it to AR 45... HSR has waaayy higher TB lvl which affects the loot drop! it doesn't stop early like Genshin. Also super agree with preferring HSR relic salvage. 1:10 ratio at specific slot is better than 1:3 ratio of any of the 5 slots. Thanks for the great video!

HSR relic farming is still worse when comparing at TB60 because not only is there 6 slots to roll, there's also 2 whole sets of 2 and 4 pc, or 3 sets of 2 pieces, leaving no room for off pieces, on top of that there are more stats to roll. Relic RNG is literally a magnitude higher than artifacts in possible outcomes and crafting relics also has RNG, providing less than a drop of help in the bucket to the grind.

forget about trace and cones materials, dont waste your stamina on 50% chance, its pianfull to get 1 blue every 2-3 runs only. Just wait because on TL50 you will get it with 100% chance and even purple mats. Better farm some EXP and SU planar relics

Having Seele's Ult particle effects in the background while showing your findings and during your explanations. I have visual issues, so I have to look away during Seele's Ult in game. So to have her Ult going off as a constant in the background of your video made it really tough for me. Maybe a more static background when you info drop this much would be better? One more thought... The choice between Crit dmg or Crit rate 2-piece will also depend on your substat rolls and if you went Cr rate or DMG on your chest piece. Ultimately, I'd go for the crit rate 2-piece. 50-70% seems like a good number to shoot for, with crit dmg being double your crit rate.

For Himeko I prefer 2-piece Musketeer, 2 piece fire. 12% atk seems better than 12% damage on her skill only, plus 12% on only one attack after she ults, because her follow-ups are a big chunk of damage that gets ignored by the 4-piece set bonus.

It seems crit values are less important than in genshin. With effect hit rate (for dots), break effect and speed ( for additional attacks), there are plenty of competition for increasing dmg. I like that. Also there are no crit stats on weapons as main stat. This is telling me that crit will have a less significant role in this game. I like the debuff path with its unique builds. The debuff system is far more advanced than in genshin.

19:16 I disagree, Yangqing's next attack/skill after his ult has greatly enchanced crit rate. With the crit rate buff, the skill can hit just as hard as the ultimate, which is why I think the crit damage is valuable

The main thing I know people have to get used to is the speed systems, unless people never played turn based rpgs or certain rpgs before. Speed is arguably the most important stat within any game as it will dictate first moves or cooldowns. Annother thing is that with the addition of speed, you'll have more scaling options, speedy characters you often want to get as much as you REASONABLY can get, people will go to quite extremes to get high speeds, do this to powerful support or defensive characters, or characters who scale off of speed. This to set up your damage or get an advantage with the first turns. For speed scaling, for now Honkai's is jsut a cap of a certain speed (take In The Night), depending on the direction of skills and Light Cones, other forms of scaling can include difference between your speed and an enemy's speed (best example is Savannah from Summoner's War)

Apparently 4 piece Knight of Purity works for the entire team when Trailblazer Fire makes the AOE shield effect, so in terms of _team_ survivability, that might work better Not that I've tested this, I've just heard that from other videos

Yep, 4-piece knight of purity makes my Trailblazer put 297 shield on everybody, up from 247 shield from doing the maths normally. An extra 50 flat damage reduction per Trailblazers' turn is nothing to sneeze at. Especially when the alternative is 8% damage reduction on TB only, when TB is going to be the toughest team member anyway, since you're building defence.

19:15 I just recently got Yanqing and I believe that 4 piece Ice set will be good for him as his ult buff affects him on his next turn, so if his ult doesn't kill or it's phase 2+ of a boss his next skill will do immense damage

If you played Genshin, this game is pretty easy. I farmed Relics a little earlier, BUT this was just to get main stat pieces for my core characters so that they were useable. Outside of that everything went into gaurenteed power progression.

Break Effect is How much Damage a character does WHEN they Break an enemies Weakness as enemies will take dmg when their Weaknesses are broken Sampo is a Prime Example of being a character who wants to build Break Effect, Since his Skill hits 5 times each hit Counting as a "Break" hit, could even do a Confirmation test by using a Break Effect Piece and Enhancing it to +3, +6, +9 and seeing how the numbers look when Sampo Breaks an enemy

Yes, but do not chase it. His primary dmg comes from dots, not necessarily his weakness break. Keep in mind each element has a different scaling on the base dmg they do on Weakness Break. Fire and Physical do the most at 200%.

Even for Yanqing, more than half of his dmg will still be coming from his skill Only characters that really actually benefit from it alot is Clara, since the bulk of her dmg comes from her counters, which count as follow ups, Himeko can be ok with it too, since she can do alot of follow ups, and her burst does hit hard enough, but in alot of cases 24% atk would still at least be marginally better

@@fadasd yeh but the set isnt giving you crit damage, and also, there are some people i know that already did the math on this, a youtuber, GrimroGacha, my friend is a theorycrafter, like when we played genshin, both took into account the golden ratio of crit, which is 1:2, same relic sets, the herta shop Hunt lightcone, and also In The Night, her signature cone; and the only time Inert beats SSS is when she is E2, and only marginally.

While there are alot of positives in comparison to genshin, I think the relic system will prove to be worse in the end. Only one custom relic every two months is awful, no off piece is awful, and having an entire slot extra over genshin just adds even more farming. HYV simps shouldn't be thanking them for making it "better." All of us should be complaining that both this and genshin are awful.

I would rather sacrifice 30 relic for 3 chance on a specific piece I need example speed boot then sacrificing 30 artifacts for the 10 random pieces that I’m not looking for imo Some number can be doubled due to set but i didn’t do that off piece is only beneficial because of how random the pool of artifacts is 1/5 with strongbox is 1/5 too. while in SR is split to 4/2 so u either have a 1/4 or 1/2 chance with the crafting system for the specific pieces like boots Custom relic is like a bonus so for example you have everything but one specific piece like a crit rate chest and u want to farm for someone else

Gearing was relatively easy for me here since I play Epic 7 and in that game, you really need your dps to have 100% crit chance and if you want to go first(pvp), you would need huge speed like my Ran has 300 speed. This game is more forgivable in building crit and its more relaxing since it's just pve.

ngl it feels like herta's planar set and fleet or the ageless are completely undervalued here... Attack is good, and its a guaranteed bonus (with only the 120 spd check to reach, which you should be able to easily)

He completely undervalued the World 3 Difficulty 2 sets and overrated worse sets. W3 D2 are the current BiS sets for DPS and Supports (Tanks run Belobog). Theory Crafters have done all the math and Space Sealing beats out Inert Salsotto in every situation, and he has completely overrated Vonwacq, while it's a good alternative to Ageless, it doesnt impact any support rotations enough to be worth running over the flat Atk% increase. 5% Energy Regen is nice, but you lose 12% HP and 32% Atk (8% to all 4 party members) for it, and well, it's just not worth it.

And as you said, fleet of the ageless is just straight up always the best for supports (except shielders), unless theres a character that only specifically needs 5% ER to have a smooth rotation, which isnt a thing for now

Tinyun loves this so she can spam her ultimate, which in turn means more ultimates for your dps and bronya wants this to spam her skill for more turns for your dps. People already argue that speed boots are better on dps, because having more turns means more dps overall. Asta can ult more for a whole team speed buff of like 50. It only really sucks on healers, because you never need that many healer ults and having them go again and again has no benefit to your team most of the time. However on the Salsotto part i am with you. That thing just sucks on non follow-up units.

For Sampo, you recommend going 4 piece Musketeer for the spd/atk boost, but doesn't 2 piece wind set increase his DoT dmg also? Says it increases wind dmg by 10% DMG % is always chosen over atk % due to dismissing returns. Unless, of course, his DoTs aren't increased by dmg %.
