I had semimembranosus reconstruction. This video takes you through the full operation day, recovery and how I did the injury.
I am recovering well and far more mobile than what I thought I would be. I am extremely grateful for the healthcare I am provided and can't thank the HCA team enough for getting me on the road to recovery under a week after the injury!
It has been 5 days since the operation and I am hobbling about on crutches, moving about the house doing general chores and pottering. So far, so good! Next weeks video will be the week after surgery and the little milestones.

My step daughter Elsie wants to say hi and get well soon! She's watched all your vlogs and loves that you do TKD too haha. She did her first ever fight last weekend at her local club and won, so she's thrilled with her first ever medal in TKD. She's 8 but says you're an inspiration as you fight even when you've 'broken your leg' haha! I've told her not to copy the injuries tho :P Hope recovery goes well and your next Grand Prix goes swimmingly!

I get how it feal larean i was off swimming for months wen i had surgery on my leg i was supposed to have bean at comps last weekend but due to bowel problems. I diserted it was not worth the risk if eney was to happen
