This was a good idea for a video. Right now I use weight 5 for the core and weight 2 for the pieces. I have speedy, but it seems to slow the cube down for some reason. Maybe it is just me haha.

its just more in between between fast and slow, it was my first lube because I didn't want too fast or too slow, I find it a bit gummy but I think its because its in between 2 different speeds but overall it is pretty decent I would say weight 2 would be the best unless of course you need to slow down your puzzles.

I use weight 4 for the hardware and speedy for the pieces. I use maru to speed it up and put some weight 4 on the pieces to slow it down. In case you're wondering I avg 18-22

what are lubicle 1, lubicle silk, lubicle black, traxxas 10k, 30k, 50k and 100k, maru lube, lubix, Rubik's lube, lubicle speedy, normal, gummy, DNM-37 and jig-a-loo equivalent to in Cubicle weights? if you know some more, convert them to Cubicle weights too. values are allowed to go below 1, below 0 and above 5

I did this with my guanlong that I used weight 3 on the hardware and core and maru lube 2 drops on the peices and the result is that it has better corner cutting with extreme speed sometimes uncontrollable

I have a thunderclap lubed with weight 4 in both core and pieces, and has around 100 solves on them. However, the cube has it's gummy sound remaining even after the solves. I checked the pieces,but the lube was almost dried out. Someone help me?

Well you put a lot of the lower weights in, if you about half the weight 1 it feels great

For my Stickerless Cube, I would use Speedy for Hardware and Gummy for Pieces because I like to loosen the tensions more because it’s what I’m comfortable at. I think gummy would make the cube less poppy. Maybe. Idk, cuz I haven’t tried lubes before. lol

I don't understand what you mean. If you meant why I didnt do one lube for each cube, well that's because it would be too predictable and obvious what the results would be. I did the most common combinations and the ones I thought would turn out the the best to represent different people's preferences. I can't do ALL combinations lol that would be 64 of the same cubes lubed differently with the same lubes. The results would be too similar as well.

Fabian Arfire maru is a not so permanent lube you usually use maru with different lubes to add a little speed.

I'd probably say thecubicle just because their lube is made for cubes and any of the weights they have will be good in a speedcube, but if you get some random weight silicone lube from a hobby shop, it may not turn out well in your cube. If you know a weight at a hobby shop that is the same as the one people use in cubes, then I think it's fine.

Not really putting it in the core just makes the springs and stuff stay clean not rust ect but the higher weight keeps it in longer

Joe actually putting it in the core does make it faster/slower depending on what lube you use because the screw is what turns so if you put lube on the screw then it makes it faster/slower but thnx and actually i accidentally used both lubes in my cube and it's amazing anyway because my weight 1 most likely dried so i'll check that
