I remember back in the day when my Mom bought me Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee when I was a kid. I had no way of playing it being that I had a GameCube and she thought I had Xbox. I recently bought an Xbox and was finally able to take it out of the cellophane to play it. Great game, I missed out as a kid but I finally have the opportunity.

Gun Metal. If you haven't played that game you are missing out. To this day it's still the hardest game I've ever played. I spent a month trying to beat one level on that game. It was such a great game, transforming mechs and fast paced action.

Not sure im not a proper gamer nerd but in australia i got a mate years ago to chip my original xbox with 4000 arcade games ,commodore 64, n64, play station,sega master system and mega drive games .....works pretty good and still works today , he installed one in a old stand up arcade machine so you can play all the arcade games through a proper old arcade machine as well as xbox games ect ....it is pretty cool

∞Phantasm Older PC sports games do pretty well. Certain ones have large followings and are consistently having their rosters updated. Even new features are sometimes added. Yay modding.... Older PC games, as in physical copies. Although you can get digital versions of them for free or very cheap. The original physical copies of PC games are considered collectors items and hold a value separate from the digital counterpart.

I'm a huge fan of the original Xbox and have produced many episodes of "Xbox Classics" for my channel. I currently own about 400 games for that system. But I could not imagine ever going for a complete Xbox Collection. There are just soooo many sports games for the Xbox. I'm the kind of collector who only sees value in collecting games I'll actually play. What would be the point in owning 400 American football, hockey, actual football, and baseball games? When you guys were talking about rare games for the system, I'm surprised nobody brought up either Fatal Frame. Both are quite difficult to find.

6 years later and the system is getting a decent boost and climb in value. As a owner of a complete xbox collection I don’t think people realize how many games and bundles are actually up in value. 5k or 6k wouldn’t be a bad price at this point. Some of these bundles are extremely hard to get. Games like futurama and teen titans to coast to coast and marvel vs capcom 2. I believe xbox will continue trending up.

Does she own the store? Does she have a personal "game room" or large collection at home? How does she balance collecting with selling? (Don't get high on your own supply!). Does she consider the store inventory her "collection"? Do things come in that she will keep and not sell? Just some things I'm interested in knowing more about.

Well, I know of a few guys at my local used game store who own the location and also collect. If someone brings a game that they want, they keep it for themselves after cleaning, as they own the store and can take without paying. They don't hold too many games for themselves, since they had an extensive collection already built up before opening the store. She's probably got a similar system in place.

While you can live off being a reseller and have your own collection to yourself to enjoy, there's not a whole lot of money to be made off the independent Video Game trade... Soup or Nintendo? I think it also somewhat depends on location. There's surprisingly few areas near me that actually deal in used games, so for them, they see a good amount of business. There seems to always be at least one or two people in there whenever I arrive and leave. But I do agree, it's likely not that common to both collect and sell in this type of market

I'm late to comment on this BUT oh my the OG Xbox was so much fun and an amazing console. Actually my favorite of its generation and my third favorite console EVER after SNES/Dreamcast and OG PlayStation (what do you mean putting two consoles in the first place is cheating ? :D). Awesome video and awesome collection. If by any chance I go back to the U.S and get a chance to visit the Seattle area I must come check Pink Gorilla ! (WARNING : I might go crazy about Dreamcast games... :p)

Kotor 1&2, battlefront 1&2, jade empire, halo: combat evolved...so many good memories tied into my OG xbox. Its still the best console ever made, which is why i still play it often!

I finished a complete xbox collection awhile back and there are a ton of great games for the system. Many of them go under the radar. It would be nice to see a resurgence if the XBOX ONE X starts supporting them.

I got Outrun 2 recently for my OG xbox and it’s a blast to play once you familiarize yourself with the controls. The coast 2 coast game is way too expensive so I found the pc version on the archive website and played it to compare with outrun 2. It was fun too but not over $350 fun lol
