Interesting video - how long do the batteries last in the cameras and other devices? Is there a solar power alternative or are they able to be hard wired? For comparison we are looking at a SimpliSafe system. Have a great day - hope the river goes down soon - what happened to the prop? Cheers Swanny

Hi 👋🏻 how are you 😊 the batteries last between 3-6 months and are rechargeable you can get hard wired and solar(cameras) the sensors are battery and last about 6 months then just replace them. We chomped a log on the K&A that was underwater and bent the tip of the prop 😩😊

I take it that you are not concerned that for years Ring has been giving full access to the police without any approval from you. Personally I would not touch this with a barge pole because you cannot control your privacy.

The cameras are on the outside of our boat and if they can assist the police with solving a crime, it doesn’t worry us. Alexa, mobile phone etc can be hacked and data used, it’s the world we live in 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️
