The amount of parts and time and effort you put this refresh is mind blowing! Was glued to the screen every second of it! Well done and big thank's for the video! Subscribed immediately!

This is exactly what I want to do with my Evo. Refresh everything so it will last another 20+ years. Your before and after results are nuts. Do you have an OEM part number list you referred to or have that you can share?
@EvoAdventures4 ай бұрын
I just google oem part numbers for whatever parts I may need.

You went through the work of labeling everything, the dilemma of remembering which piece went where after zinc coating would've been solved by taking pics with the labels haha I'm late I know but next time, do that😂 Great video! Once my FD is done, the evo will go down for a long nap for a redo too
@EvoAdventures5 ай бұрын
I did take pictures of the bolts with my labels. That's why I was looking at my phone a bunch. Some bolts were the same but had slightly different heads or washers. Everything went back where it came from.

Have you thought about any under body protection, skid plates etc.? For anything you might hit or light off road you might come across?
@EvoAdventures5 ай бұрын
I haven't really thought about it. When I do go off pavement, I'm very selective, do my research beforehand and if I have any doubt in my mind it may be a bad idea, I turn around. I'll also go alot slower than I probably even need to.

i'm on the same boat as you with restoring my car. Where did you get those mudflaps?
@EvoAdventures2 ай бұрын
They came on the car, but they are Rally Armor ones.

Did you relocate your ACD pump to the front of the car? I've never seen one in the front like that before.
@EvoAdventures2 ай бұрын
No, that is the factory location on US model cars. I've seen other countries have in in the back if that's what you're referring to.
@test-5472 ай бұрын
@@EvoAdventures ok cool. I didn't know the USDM cars were that different. Both my evos are JDM and the pump is behind the rear wheel. Nice video man. The production quality is really high for the views. Definitely deserves more

What size wheels? Any rubbing or fender work needed?
@EvoAdventures2 ай бұрын
17x9 +38 with 12mm spacer on front to clear calipers. No running or fender work.

What about did it cost to zinc plate the fasteners?
@EvoAdventures5 ай бұрын
$75 cash for everything you see there.

@@EvoAdventures awesome, thanks for the reply. This winter I may tear it down and do what you’ve done. Looks great and will hold up for a long time.
