Complete USS Shenzhou review and build (all pts). WITH LIGHTS!

This is a preview and review of the USS Shenzhou. The Shenzhou was the featured ship in the premiere of Star Trek: Discovery.
Round2 is making the model kits for Star Trek Discovery. They're releasing 1:2500 scale models of the Discovery, Shenzhou and Enterprise. Our channel has already built and reviewed the USS Discovery, and now we've built the Shenzhou.
And we used LEDs to light both builds!

I really love that ship design. I think they sould done the series about this ship. A lost opportunity.

I've always thought that the first season of Discovery should have been entirely set onboard the Shenzhou with us getting to know the characters. It's such a cool little ship. I absolutely adore the design language of the ships in Disco.

🖖😎👍Very cool and very nicely well done and executed in every detail way shape and form and your kit came out looking very great a job very well done indeed, And I myself own all of the Discovery kits and really love how they come with a full line of decals including all the Aztecs in their 1:2500 scale kits indeed!,👌. And p.s. as per true Canon there is not supposed to be any kind of pinkish or purpleish lighting of any kind any where on any starship whatsoever just thought you should know that!,🤔.

I don’t know if you noticed but the saucer sections shape is almost a nod to the Enterprise from the early 2000s tv show Enterprise. The shape is so close.. Just a thought.

Nice build, well done , Next time try "SMD" Lights, instead of "LED", SMD Lights are prewired and a lot smaller. Just a though. But you did a awesome job.

I have this model, I put it all together, except for the decals. I just can't figure that out. This is my first model of anything I put together, so I don't have a clue. Do you have instructions on how to put on the decals? Do you have to soak them in a solution? Do you need to coat the model with varnish first?

How are you wiring hte LEDs? in series or in parallel? I was planning to do the same but would like to run it off a 9v battery

Is there a way to hid get rid of the access wires on the outside?

Yes. Instead of using the stand that comes with the kit, you can use a hollow tube into a wooden stand.
