I have a Coda now too. All the parts you tore, ripped & yanked out are the parts I want for my EV conversion project. I'm carefully removing them & labeling everything. The rest of the car (body panels, seats etc. etc. ) are available to anyone who wants them.

Codas have good stuff in them! What car are you converting? My dream is to use this UQM motor in a PT Cruiser😂 Off camera I also labeled and stored all of my parts for future use

A couple months ago 3 BRAND NEW Codas from Mullen's left over stock ended up in a Los Angeles junkyard. All cars were complete with all the drive components, and were only missing the batteries. I was expecting those EV motors to be pulled quick, and the remaining SoCal Coda owners to save a lot of the parts. Sadly after visiting the cars on the last day before they headed for the crusher, they were mostly intact. This made me curious about the brand, and I then found your channel. Great vid!

Yeah, And battery pack with 31kW of Energy. He did warn us that despite being an Electrical Engineering Student, he wasn't an expert. I think the world could cope with using Joules (or MJ) for battery capacity and there'd be much less confusion. Nobody's trying to use HorsePowerHours for ICE fuel tanks....

@@ElectrekGarage Ok Thanks! But I have 1 problem, it only goes up to 50km on a single charge and after that it shuts down. Is it possible to increase the range without changing the battery?

@justspelll oh, you should be getting AT LEAST 120km of range, you have a bad cell! Message my email that's in my bio and I can help you get that fixed!

what was meant to be the lifespan of the Coda? how many miles/years was it meant to last?

They were advertised with a 10 year battery warrenty! It is a LiFePO4 pack so it is very stable and very reliable.
