Hmm look how much is in Nick's car and how much faster it went. Now I'm not saying it's like that with everyone or that it's a bad shop. I've seen good power come from there but the freedom rocket is a problem for me. That being said they did a great job on the twin turbo kit on Nick's other Camaro. Kinda hard not to make power with a set of twins though.

Hey Andrew, awesome car and I love following this build! You and your crew are doing an amazing job. Question for you at 5:12 in the video... It looks like the plug wires are touching the headers. Are you concerned about melting the wires, or are the GM wires heat resistant enough these days to withstand the heat coming from headers? I am in the process of putting a set of long tubes on my SS and trying to find the best solution for wires that wont touch the pipes.

I want to ask a question here if I may... I bought my '17 ZL1 new and inquired about a top end loss of power and was told right after the break in "everything is in spec". Not true. The dealer then told me of a shop that can "wake up" the car WITHOUT tearing it down and would NOT void my warrantee with boltons. The upgrade shop told me the high RPM power loss was because the air wasn't being cooled, therefore the computer would cut power. The pump in the supercharger was bone dry from the factory and my svc record on this power problem. Problem still exists as even after filling it up again, in 7-10 days it's empty again and power is shut down again... Infuriating to say the least, no evidence of any leaks, where it's going is the $64 question.... Have any of you had any problems like this?? Plz let me know and if you did/do what was the fix?!? Thanks to all in advance.

The system is very hard to bleed. Grab HP Tuners from our website and I'll be able to help you get it bled properly or remotely diagnose what's going on. -Andrew

I recently added or tried to add the roto fab big gulp to my zl1 after watching this video. My mods. Maggie, cam, headers, 103, etc. I was still on the standard roto fab so I thought another 20hp or so would be great. Let just make this simple, I gained 2hp for the price of $550. Basically, zero gain at all. I was disappointed to say the least and puzzled why no gain. Same tuner, same dyno. We made a few pulls at he has the a/f at 12.2. Tried it to 12.5 and nothing he did made a gain. So, I removed it and had to convince the place I bought it from that I meant to get the standard roto fab and didn't know this one needed a tune. They took it back but cost me 20% for the bull shit re stock fee. Not sure how it gained on this car and not mine.

We tested both hood open and closed and with the rotofab there was a 2 rwhp difference. Since it didn't change power significantly, and more importantly did not change the way the car read the air coming in (like some other intakes) we kept the hood open to allow engine bay heat to escape. This is important as the car is sitting still, and the airflow while great with our setup, is no match for driving at 70+ mph.

Won’t perform on the track in the heat most likely all these dyno pulls mean zero on these cars. Seen z06 make 850 whp then go to the track and run 136 mph in the quarter mile. Take it to the track and makes 140 plus mph then will be a little more impressive. Considering my stock setup went 140 mph on a 700da day this better go at least 145 mph on a similar type da day.
