This is such a great looking rig. I remember years ago not being able to wait to make the jump to a tf2. Now I’m looking forward to the jump to a BR rig. Good stuff as usual

I've loved binge watch this build Series. (Pun intended.)😄 Have you sussed the patina yet?. Thesis inbound.😁 Steel patina on my IRL Landies: •Bulkhead (body colour/rust) where the doors hinge at especially around bottom hinge and top corner near windscreen mount. •Windscreen frame, Body capping, Fuel Cap and Front Bumper (matt silver/grey/rust streaks where rain water runoff hits especially) are galvanised but when the zinc wears off, it rusts. •Chassis, Axle Housings, Hubs, Drive Flange, Springs, Wheels (generally black/rust). The rear alloy "bumper" that hit shop truck in real life is a steel crossmember.😉 Alloy patina on IRL Landy: General if it's been painted once would be worn down/chipped to bare ali in high contact areas especially like wingtops (fender), front of bonnet (hood), door handles. If it's had multiple coats, you'd see various layers before bare alloy. Patches where the primer/paint wasn't applied properly. The rivets along the body and where steel touches alloy would have galvanic corrosion (matt White streaks/dots). Look up these for some good ideas on patina. Land Rover First Overland, Land Rover JUE 477, Karoo 2.25 1960 109 (yellow), Land Rover Cameron Highlands. I'm sick of typing so, that's all folks.😜😆

Love the look and quality of Boom's kits there just unfortunately out of my price range right now!

Noooooo. 😢 Us old-time builders are suppose to fabricate at least a third of the stuff on our rigs. 😆 🤣 Jason's a really good guy. I like his stuff. Hopefully, one day, I'll own one of his rigs. Sorry I missed you at Pro-Line By The Fire. Every time I went by your camp, you weren't there. I probably walked right by you and it didn't "click" in my head it was you. 😆 My boys were running an event for o hours, so that blew through most the daylight we had on Saturday.

You're going to need to pull all the wiring apart again to install the light kit.

I was afraid of that. Havent ordered the lights yet, just the light up gauges.

fyi the colour of official landy coolant is rusty brown. cast iron block and old coolant had very little corrosion inhibitor so it very quickly went rusty

I like it! Can easily go grab some out of my 23 year old truck to put in the tank, lol

I think for scale looks I'd rather have an old school winch like a warn 8274 up front compared to this setup.
