How did he get -40/4 from multiplying it by 25/4?

i was looking for this too. looks like by multiplying by denominator of 25/4 so multiply by 4.

actually never mind. find least common multiple of 4 and 1 which is 4. So -10/1 turns to -40/4 because you multiply them both by 4, the least common multiple. Why? So that we can add the fractions together, they need to have a like denominator.
