Completing WMXIX Revenge Mode! (Part 2 of 3)

Well here we are again, following Stephanie McMahon's orders to destroy her daddy's biggest night of the year. The challenges have become more ridiculous, and the frustration is setting in. There's no giving up though, we MUST continue this journey.

One of the absolute wildest mode in all wrestling game history, I remember playing this and I was literally shocked, Plus the fact that you can throw people of the building just makes it more crazy.

As absurd as this mode seems and looks, it’s a fun kind of different. A good, fun break from like a challenge tower. I kind of want to see this style return in one way or another. Much love, keep up the great work!

I never owned a GameCube back in the day so I missed out on these wwe games. I've just started playing them through the dolphin emulator and they are excellent! They remind me of No Mercy for the N64 with the satisfying move physics unlike the smackdown games

This mode truly is fun stuff, but I swear it’s INFURIATING at points, it makes wonder how my sanity is still intact. The Parking Lot especially is the bane of my existence with this mode. But aside from that, still fun.👍

God I thought the Revenge Mode was Soooooo much fun! I still play it every now and then lol it's kind of ironic... WCW failed at Backstage Assault, but WWE, I think, nailed it. I do feel the same stress sometimes on this Revenge Mode. But the satisfying feeling of slamming guys off ledges or through stuff. Plus we still had an awesome, super fun game! Unlike Backstage Assault we had a complete wrestling game... with areans and a... ring lol. I feel like WrestleMania 19 was a alternate sequel to No Mercy. I think it is that much fun. Wrestlemania 18 isn't that much fun though.

I'm with you, I hate challenge. I want to relax and enjoy the game. Not get stressed to the point I want to break something. The mode is a great idea but implemented so poorly. The fact that as someone who hates being stressed, this mode stressed me to the point that I've never been able to complete it is awful. Stressful, with almost no entertainment.

Geez man just finished watching and I feel your pain. Some moments like protecting the wrecking ball, the shopping mall finale and the crate thing were aggravating for me when I was younger playing this in the late 2000's-early 2010's. When you couldn't figure out the crate bit I was just anticipating the rage when you figured it out as while the game does tell you in a loading screen hint, you would have to be able to read it in time and it doesn't always appear obviously. So yeah I did get a lot of entertainment out of your misery partially because I went through it once before too. I know you've already beaten it but I'd say a good strategy is to always put finishers on people so they stay down longer and of note the created wrestler boss characters and WWE stars will take more damage and don't stay down as long as the regular workers do. I believe throwing off one the WWE stars or bosses will result in them being replaced with a normal worker which is helpful as like I said they cannot take a beating. But yeah I look forward to part 3 and am really looking forward to your reaction to the finale of the Parking Lot as that was the level that caused me the most amount of grief.

I remember the first time I beat revenge mode I used Kane,I was stuck on harbor lvl 4 for awhile....untill a demo of Brock Lesnar grabbing the box and taking it to the top played P.s: (47:00-47:14) same feelings on that stage too lol

I can’t believe they don’t explain it! I bet many frustrated gamers got stuck there. And to think, these days I can jump on KZbin to check it out but back in 2003 that wasn’t the case.

The only mercy this game shows is it doesn't allow other enemies to strike you while you're grappling/throwing them. I could never beat this game because of how annoying the fights were so I would lost interest every time I'd play it. Seems like they made things really annoying to make the stages longer. Not a bad concept to have an "open world" wrestling game but I can't help think of similarities this has with DBZ Sagas which was also "open world" but also garbage.

I hated this game so much because there was no traditional story mode like the ps2 games. Looking back on it, I enjoyed the gameplay and graphics but revenge mode disappointed me so bad. Plus I was jealous of my friends who HCTP on PS2 it was the closest thing to it
