Mystery boxes are the biggest scam without them actually being a scam. Every person knows what they’re signing up for when they wanna throw their money away but still got something to complain about when they break even or lose money. There’s no difference between it and gambling. If your living paycheck to paycheck you should avoid mystery boxes. Period.

There is a point where a box 📦 has to be a 300 per pair or less to at minimum get your money back

If there are prizes above the $300 entry that you can win (eg Travis Scotts worth $1500) then there needs to be prizes under the $300 for the seller just to break even. If every prize was $300 or higher, the seller would literally lose money on every contest. It would make no sense from their standpoint to even host one. People participating simply need to know the risks they're voluntarily signing up for.

Back in the day when the American dollar was alot worse, Eastbay was the place to go for Australians to get a come up. I used to spend $400 at a time and over here that might almost get you 2 pairs of something. From Eastbay i'd get 2 pairs, 2 hoodies, 2 t shirts and delivered for just under $400

i mean if people want to get scammed, they could after watching 4-5 clip of opening $300 mystery box it didnt even poke my desire to try it the rule is simple, a huge wants didnt comes cheap what do u expect from $300 to get a 6-700 worth shoes? better save your money for another $300 and actually get the shoes that u want u have to accept hype and hi resell price plays important part of this culture and bussiness, nike need to create hype to keep people buying, by releasing a limited collab shoes people need to be super lucky or pay high resell price to get it otherwise go with differen GR colorway and thats the purpose so people buy the GR as alternative to those hype impossible unreachable collab release and im totally fine with it because i didnt live those hyped live but i still need the hype to keep me interested with this culture and its history
