What a stand up guy. The language he uses and the way he interacts with people and life, very modest yet confident at the same time. The way he addressed the cashier by her name. Most of these celebrities act dumb or better than others on camera because they still feel they have something to prove… letting their demeanor and actions be controlled by their insecurity. Casey knows who he is and therefor has time to put genuine energy into everybody he interacts with.

Not the stories of his childhood nor interactions with big names in streetwear, but how he addressed the staff…by their name. It seems so subtle, but to me, it was the leveling of the playing field. That’s something me and probably other fans really like about him. You can be one of the biggest popstars in the country (Shawn Mendes) or just your everyday delivery man (Marlan of UPS), to Casey, we are all equals and we should treat each other with respect.

Kinda crazy I was in NY for the week visiting friends and thought “it would be wild to see Casey while I’m here” and I stopped by Concepts to see my friends brand that just started stocking there (Brigade USA definitely check it out) and I opened the door and Casey and Joe just turned around and looked at me and I realized there was like 10 cameras behind him. As soon as I opened it someone came out and put a sign on the door saying they were closed for the day. Wish I had gotten there like ten minutes earlier and had actually got to talk to him, but I’m hopefully moving up there soon and I know I’ll get to run into him again. Great collab as always, loved this episode!
