Composers block

Amysnake is frustrated and sings about her anguish lmao.
I was going to enter a young composer's competition, but I can't seem to be able to write a song in the classical genre.
Thus I spill out the first melodies that come to mind and put my feelings into song.

Boi. I've always wanted to be a singer, write my own songs and stuff. I never had the right rythm nor the feel. I liked how daring you were by writing, singing your own song AND uploading here for everyone to see. Very courageous of you. Good luck on writing your next songs, I'm eager to see some more.

Thank you so much for this comment. It's almost a decade since I've posted here and I've been feeling like I wanna put my songs out there again, but life happened and although my skills increased, all my songs became too personal and "cringe" to post. You've really made my day and given me some hope. Maybe I'll post some more songs again. But once again, thank you so much, it means a lot to me.

@@snakuchan "Cringe"? Dude. Think, what songs do you think you enjoy the most? What poems do you like to read? The ones that talk about things through so much symbolism it's like trying to decipher ancient texts, or ones that are open and honest? Your feelings matter. The personal part and you not wanting to share them because of that is valid, but you shouldn't be afraid of posting stuff just because they're "cringe". The cringe part itself is the honest part. The honesty people actually find themselves in, relate to, and enjoy the most. What's cringier than cringe is the people who call things cringe. Your art is, if anything, expressive and honest, and I think people liked your art because of that too. No need to claim a spot in fame. I personally would make art and post it online if I felt like it's what made me feel less lonely. Because what makes us feel lonely the most isn't being alone, but not being understood. And if you feel like being understood and expressing yourself is what makes you happy, you should do just that. Being famous is old news, any old crook can bot and trend-ride their way into a couple hundred thousand subscribers. What's more important is that you yourself are happy with what you're doing.
