Oh cool, we've been meaning to make these exact cookies in our house! I don't know why, but I've never heard them be called 'compost cookies' before and it's honestly much cuter to me than 'kitchen sink.' lol I also have never seen these cookies with chips in them, and it's more appealing to me than the usual only-sweet ones (I like things a bit saltier). Definitely adding this as well to the list of recipes to make from this channel!

It makes me slightly crazy when I see people slip the step of mixing the dry ingredients before adding them to the mixer. I am very intrigued by this recipe. The coffee grounds are very interesting. Thanks for sharing this. See you next week.

10:11 did you get that level of cookie spread by letting them defrost a bit, or were they put on the baking tray right out of the freezer? i struggle a lot with getting my cookies to spread out and not stay little mounds when i freeze my dough.
@joshuacooksthendraws11 ай бұрын
I refrigerated them. They were placed in the oven right away from the fridge :)

Is corn syrup/glucose necessary? and why?
@joshuacooksthendraws Жыл бұрын
Im using milkbar’s recipe and so Im not 100% on why but I believe it’s because it adds to a better texture of softness and chewiness?
@skyydancer67 Жыл бұрын
@@joshuacooksthendraws It does affect the chewiness. If you used only the sugar, the cookies would have a different texture altogether.
@killdracula52611 ай бұрын
@@skyydancer67 hello, would agave syrup or honey still give the same result?
@johannasegura515910 ай бұрын
@@killdracula526 if you're looking for a soft / chewy texture, maple syrup will do the trick very well.
