I started learning how to cook by watching your channel. I used to get overwhelmed by cooking now I'm making Mexican meal by scratch! Thank you!!!!! Sincerely, A Mexican american living in LA

Hi I love your work and the originality of your recipes I've been following you for a long time! Just one feedback : could you reduce your "haha"s in your subtitles ? It's a bit annoying imo. Sorry don't take it personally.....

Its a habit of mine. Sorry that it annoys you. Ill try to lessen it. Even now I was tempted to end this comment with those words. 😬

I always thought gallets were only savoury? Damn tho looks good
@joshuacooksthendrawsКүн бұрын
I was the opposite and always thought galettes to be sweet. But the savory kinds are so delicious!

Idk if you’re aware of this, but your instructions & commentary only show if captions are on. Otherwise, it’s just watching you cook. I feel if you put the text in your videos, it may be helpful to viewers. I just found your channel. I love it.

Why would you bake at 400° for 45 minutes when you cane just bake at 1,080,000° for one second

This soup seems delightful! I usually opt for richer soups for the winter season (with more fatty content, let's say :P) but this is perfect for after Christmas or Thanksgiving, when everyone's getting sick. I'll have to give this recipe a try! Great work as usual, and I hope your folks recover soon :)

Who’s out there hating on celery??? Do they not understand the importance of the mirepoix? Also my guy with the lemon at the end there! I imagine it would be a great addition to this veggie blend in particular.
@joshuacooksthendrawsКүн бұрын
Right? Celery is just top tier!! :D And yes the squeeze of lemon adds such a nice touch of acidity to balance everything out!

Where's the part where you _add the leftover apple butter_ ??
@joshuacooksthendraws2 күн бұрын
I add it to right after rolling the pie dough. Its the base/bottom of the galette beneath the fruit.
