@@GhostGecko I'm really hoping I'm not too late, I unfortunately accepted my fate at GCSE and ended up with a four, which is a pass so I was not bothered too much. But now I'm 17 and applying to university and most courses want a 5 or 6 at GCSE, I have to resit my maths now which has cost 350 because I passed this first time, so can't resit for free. If I can give you any advice please please please put Maths, English and Science first as they really do dictate your future opportunities. And look at university courses now because having something to aim for really helped with my motivation!!

for questions like at 18:40 is it okay to have a near answer like 2.3% or 2.5%? will it still be given a mark?
@theredstonebuilder11203 жыл бұрын
Here's another way of working out questions like at 14:37 (when working out the value of x%). You make a formula like this 8000 × ((100 + x) /100)^3 = 8589.93 That bracket part in the middle is to work out your multiplier, and the x is the actual percentage. Then you rearrange (divide by the investment). ((100 + x)/100)^3 = 1.07374..... Then cube root both sides. (100 + x) / 100 = 1.02399.... Then times by 100 100 + x = 102.399... Then subtract 100 from both sides. x = 2.399 which rounds to 2.4. So x = 2.4% Hope this helped, I find it an easier way. But use whatever you prefer 🙂

No Sir unfortunately this is near impossible to do, one topic can stretch from grade 5-9 depending on the complexity and variety of topics involved, this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/pWq5po2eeNaFaLc covers all the topics from grade 6-9 but to categorise them into one grade would be misleading as we can’t really classify some of them as being a ‘grade 7’ or ‘grade 8’ question, they are merely a collective that fall within a spectrum, we can certainly classify a ‘grade 8-9’ topic or style of question and I have done a grade 8-9 playlist to help with this! 😁🙏🏼
