Monorail driver (mid-20's) crushed and killed by another monorail reversing into the one he was operating. Happened not too long ago. My dad fell off the platform at Peter Pan ride. He was then run over by Captain Hook. Captain Hook had a full load of kids and parents. Much screaming ensued. They had to unload slowly as to not crush my dad to death. He was helicoptered out leaving my mom and five year old daughter behind. They were surrounded by princesses and got VIP treatment the rest of their trip while dad spent rest of trip in the hospital. They got toys, no lines, clothes, food etc. They did refund them cost of their trip. Aren’t they just SWEET

I hope they paid his medical bills too, but I would think they'd manage to skate away from that. Was there any lawsuit/settlement? This is 100% accurate, I recall when I was with Disney around 99 or 2000, a tour cruise ship had something come loose, it beheaded a passenger and they claimed that he died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. No one dies at Disney has always been a thing.

So i worked boat rentals on the lakes right before and where that happened. I saw gators all the time and was told not to worry they haven't bothered anyone in 40 years. One of the lakes was there before the parks were built and has tons of wildlife. I was at one of the resorts when a teen got run over by the bus as well. It's true they take them to a hospital off of property to pronounce them dead. Many people have died two alone on mission to mars. Its both the theme parks and the guests duty to be informed and be proactive. I worked in the theme parks over a decade inside the parks and at the hotels and its crazy the things you see.

So many people leave their small children unattended so much. Even if the child is 3 - 4 ft away and they take their eyes off of child for a minute. We were in the gondola ride and I started to swing it back and forth because the ride was so boring. Out of nowhere I hear a voice tell me to stop it or they'll kick me out!
