Comprehensive AUCMA stand mixer Review|Is this Plastic Mixer the best stand mixer for beginners?

This video is a comprehensive and honest review of the Aucma SM1518z 1400watts 6.2 litre bowl stand mixer.I was pleasantly surprised by it's efficiency after 18 months of use,though the price has changed since I bought it, it is fairly affordable for a beginner baker on a budget.
In this video I test the mixer's task efficiency and speed levels using various recipe. The plastic feel of the mixer is nearly a turn off at first glance but after use, the results matches the next mixer on the market that springs to mind.

Glady's , I've been making bread for quite a number of years now, I'm not an expert but when making dough in my stand mixer, I always put the liquid in the bowl 1st then the dry ingredients and never had a problem with it mixing? I'm worried now as to whether I should invest in this mixer? Thank You for your comprehensive review of this machine

Hi Jon.. thanks for your very kind feedback about my review, I only was aiming to inform anyone who's having trouble with deciding on a mixer as I sort out such information myself in past times to no avail. I am no expert either ,on dough making or anything more than making a cake but while I recommend this mixer for beginner friendly simple baking tasks,I wouldn't recommend this mixer for dough making and that's a matter of simple opinion derived from my experience with this mixer,with most dough making processes the motor of the mixer has to be robust to undertake the kneading of the dough and I find this mixer isn't cut for that for a reasonable quantity of about 425g flour, half of that amount will be lost in the bowl with the dough hook struggling to knead and as you'll find in my review, I did say I wouldn't recommend the mixer for dough making because in the end half of the dough was mixed by hand with the mixer only helping things along so perhaps this won't be the mixer I would use for dough making and haven't done since this review but it's a worthwhile investment for baking other goods such as cakes etc which I highly recommend. @@jonbishop1385 new units come with a S hook instead of J hook,

@@jonbishop1385 also the recommended method is mixing with speed 1 for 30s, then 2 for 30s, then 3 for 2-4 min to get a dough, after that you can continue for up to 20 mins in total. anything above 3 is out of spec and may damage the unit

@@jonbishop1385 i have a similar model, SM-1511, and with S hook and 65:35 flour to water, or 54% water content, i can knead at 3 without problems
