A toner probe does not tell you specifically where the trouble spot is on a piece of cable. That would be a TDR or maybe a cable tester

idk my first thought on that question was toner probe tbh. Isn't cable tester just for checking connectivity?

I wish the exam I took had easy questions as this, most of them were analytical questions and troubleshooting...

UPDATE: I passed :) I have my Net+ 10-007 exam this saturday, and I found this video while doing a wild search for anything to make me feel better about my chances of passing. Your attitude is so positive and influential that it helped me just as much as these questions did in building my confidence. I am absolutely subscribing. Thank you for this.

Sir, you are soooo cool. I really enjoyed this. I graduated with a degree in networking back in 2004 but nobody would hire me with only an Associates Degree. From then until now things have been good until this covid BS happened, so now I am out of work. I was working at a Career Center and 2 high schools teaching Electronics Technology and Coding, App, and Game Design until the SHTF. My passion has and always will be teaching but I do love Networking and Security of Networks. Thank You for posting this video. Dan

Question about the toner is wrong. They only verify end to end connectivity. It doesnt even have a display on it usually that will tell you anything about breaks

im a little confused about the wireless in the retail store question. I am guessig the devices used for guest access would need to be people already known else how would their mac addresses be available for filtering? lol... my bad i just realised i had not read the question properly it is the neighbors that have guest access...

Let's start with vision technology. White is bad in terms of contrast on a blue background. Instead, write in yellow that goes even very well on a blue. Thanks for sharing.

I'm coming back to this video again and at 10:30 when I said TCP and you said no UDP. I was throwing my hands in the air and then you where like just playing. I was trying to figure out how I keep getting worse after studying. I did actually get my A+ and I am working diligently for my Network+.

@@ZERO_TO_IT_HERO when I first saw the video I was studying for my A+ but I knew I was going to take my Network+ next. I was completely mind blown at the quality of this video. Fast forward I passed my A+ studying for my Network+ and I revisited this video. It's quite challenging even after studying.

Yes central devices to connect to a network, switches, and wireless access points aka SOHO routers. Since this talks about connecting to a network, a switch seems correct option in today's world.
