My theory is that the whole obsession with Conan in South Korea started with these girls They came back home and just would not shut up about how funny this U.S. celebrity talk show guy was to all their friends and family so little by little that increase on Conan views in KZbin in the region started getting real momentum and just snowballed as part of their pop culture. There's a lot of research to suggest that being intelligent and creative enough to be a successful comedian often comes with darkness and mood disorders, which can then be exacerbated further with addiction issues to drugs or alcohol. If you ask me to memorize a much of dates and events from World War II I wouldn’t be able to do it. But since I like game shows a lot, I hang on to whatever I read about them.
