To those who have asked that who the heck is Paavo Nurmi: Paavo Nurmi is maybe the greatest athlete in Finland's sport history. He won 9 olympic golds in his career (all of them in only 2 olympic games in Antwert and Paris). He also won 3 olympic silver medals. So there you have. More questions??

I totally agree with you. And there was this recent British research, where they measured the wealthness of different countries. The sectors they measured were entrepreneurship, economy, innovation, health care, political freedom and how safe the country is.. Finland was ranked 1st, Switzerland 2nd, and then Sweden, Norway and Denmark. And I don't know if this KGC1863 dude has any kind of education, but all of these countries are EUROPEAN countries...

I don't think it has much value in this conversation but I'm a Finn and I'm just a little envious of Swedish for their movie industry. You have/had Ingmar Bergman, Lasse Hallström, Stellan Skarsgård, friggin Max von Sydow... Everyone of them clearly more succesful than their Finnish colleagues. We're lucky to have Aki Kaurismäki. Oh yeah, and Renny (he's made a few enjoyable action flicks).
