@@JuanTorres-hs3lc not only that all the other shows do is talk about politics. Literally that’s all they do. And it’s not funny. And they pay for views. All those Democrat talk shows literally have fake views. Look at all of kimmel and Trevor Noahas views. Every video has over a million views but barely any likes or comments. It’s a known facts they pay for views because of the agenda in America right now. Conan literally is the only real late night host. The man is the funniest man on late night! He doesn’t have to talk about trump or Biden every other joke.

@@trekkiejunk Sorry I probably should’ve used IS instead of WAS. You’re right. Back in the day talk show hosts were comedians. But NOWADAYS there is very little comedic talent on talkshows. The classic talkshow were proper comedians.

@Bad Boys Boogie True. No games or gimmicks. But he does need 3-4 guests on a sofa at a time though. I mean Conan takes a camera man and just go back stage and talks to his staff and that’s a more funny bit than anything I see on the other shows. I don’t know how many other hosts can do that.

Thats why his last message on there was If you work really hard and you’re kind amazing things will happen. This comment will get buried, but in 2015, I had just moved to LA and made it into a live taping of Conan’s show on a stand-by ticket. As a part of the show, Conan introduced a newer, lesser-known comedian to the audience, and then went and sat in the darkness by the edge of the stage while she did her bit. I glanced over at Conan a few times during her routine, and he was 100% engaged in what she was saying - not on his phone, not talking to an assistant, but listening and laughing with the rest of us. He could’ve been doing anything, but he was giving her his complete and undivided attention. Conan is truly a gracious, genuine, and caring person, both in and out of the spotlight, which is so, so rare in show business. Farewell Conan - you will be missed 🖤

I think it's only fitting that Conan, the kindest, most genuine person I've seen on television, humble and real and wise like he is, gave such a classy goodbye and moved on to the next chapter in his life. Conan is not the kind to hold onto something just because he has power in it. I have had literally one contemporary idol and role model in life, and this man is it. I wish him all the best and all the good fortune in this world, and to never lose his soul.

Conan is wrong about his show being pointless. I've watched him since I was a kid. His show was a way for my older brother and me to bond. It was also a reason for my buddies and I to get together to watch his show every night in college. When I have had personal tragedies or dark times, I have often watched Conan clips or episode as a temporary escape. I began watching conan when he came to TBS. I was 10. I never would've believed how integral he, his show, his humor would become in my life. I'm so grateful for all the nights I was up late, waiting for my mom to come home from nights of drinking heavily, because I was so alone. I was watching over my (5 years younger than I am) sister, my older brother had moved out, and my father was absent. I had very few emotional comforts. But I could always rely on Conan every weeknight to help me push through those toughest moments. I owe a lot to him. Those small respites of joy he provided me help me become resilient in the face of my emotional turmoil and family problems. I love you, Conan & Co. I will forever be grateful for your work, and your inspiration to me. I hope to soon watch his HBO travel series when I visit my boyfriend next month (He's the only person I know with and HBO sub lol) Last of all... VIVA CONACO!

Honestly Conan thrives without the late night format. If you’ve noticed he’s a lot more free on his podcast. And I don’t think Conan like those phony interviews that he used to have to do.I saw conan say he didn’t like interviewing a 2nd guest that nobody ever heard of with no life experience. He likes the podcast format because it more like a conversation. I just think he’s out grown the semi scripted interviews. In my opinion he’s funny on his own without writers. He’s just too good at improvising comedy in the spot. That’s why I like his podcast but I’m definitely excited for his new show even tho I don’t really understand what it’s going to be like. I know technically Conan's show isn't over, only changing forms and such, but the feel of this show in this iteration for the last 11 years is so nostalgic for me, goofy, funny, never took itself too seriously, and that's why I loved it. :(

So that's officially what a Series Finale looks like... It's impossible to look at it now, as it's fresh, but down the years, it will be said: Conan O'Brien IS late night TV.

Truly the end of the golden era of the Late Night TV. Carson, Letterman, Conan and Craig Ferguson and I guess Leno (for better or worse xD) truly gave something special to the business, which can never be reproduced again. These are people that will probably be remembered forever in their own way. I don't think anyone will remember Fallon, Corden, Colbert and friends. It's the end of an era when it was all about the host, all about how talented, smart, funny, knowledgeable they were. It was not about the stupid games, not about the celebrities and not about a facade which no one really relates to. A time when viewers, most probably exhausted from their jobs, did not go to sleep but waited impatiently to watch their favorite show and their favorite host. I'll miss it for sure. What Conan says about the combination of smart and stupid is spot on. He was probably the only one who could do it so well and make it seem like something genius and brilliant. A true prodigy imo which never got what he truly deserved from ignorant people who couldn't see gold in front of them. One in a million for sure. Thank you Conan for all the laughs.
