@@Eradicati0nn to be honest, I wouldn’t like the reintroduction of old battle passes. Maybe Fortnite is to blame for the exclusivity entitlement of owning a battle pass that expires. It would make me feel as if my effort to be able to complete the pass would be wasted and I do like the feeling of owning exclusives too since I was there when it first started.

I also have all the BattlePass stuff. I too like knowing I may have content that others who did not take the time to play have. The old BP content could come back as Bazaar stuff, or as rewards from top-tier Purges? I think that there's a very good chance that the impact of the Dune game is more along the lines of how many Modders, Streamers, players and interest from the Gaming community have (and will?) move from Conan Exiles to the Dune game as it rolls through early testing, etc. Players always freak out that the Coanan player pool is 'disappearing'. Well, of course. Players can only play one game at a time, and there are several big games out there right now. This is always the case.

As someone who owns every battlepass item I'd be happy for everyone else to get a chance to get them too in if possible. It must suck to see a cool item in a video and then realise you can't actually get it yourself.

They could of go with method that 343 did with Halo Infinite, where they are always be there, incase you finish the latest battlepass and use left over crom coins from battle pass to work on previous season ones in your spare time.

I was a bit mixed at first myself, I like the idea of exclusivity, but idk if I like it for decorations, armor, building pieces etc. It's one thing to have an exclusive weapon skin in something like COD that effectively doesn't really matter, but for stuff with more function, I lean a little more towards it becoming available for everyone

@@Eradicati0nn I personally DESPISE exclusivity. There is only one reason for it, to have something no one else gets to have, but when you think about it, thousands of others have it, you didn't get anything unique, but it does keep everyone from having it. Just sort of divides the community. I DO understand the appeal of "Well i was there for XYZ event" or "I'm a long time player" or even just "I have something few people have which makes me more attached to this game" But i don't think those are worth the majority of other players feeling like they got shafted. ESPECIALLY with items that can effect gameplay. >..> still i understand it... even if i hate it =D

@@thecommenter9678 I like the idea, but there's definitely different levels of exclusivity. Completing events or difficult in-game challenges warrant exclusivity to some degree IMO, paid features do feel a little less important as exclusives seeing as the only barrier is payment and attendance I guess, though I'm not fully sold on that idea I definitely support keeping the pre-order bonuses exclusive though, plus I wouldn't be surprised if there's legal precedent for not making pre-order bonuses available to everyone

Yeah I'm leaning that way myself, had the rewards been something inconsequential like calling cards or gun camos in COD then I probably wouldn't have cared too much either way, but seeing as a fair few of the rewards are not only functional but could be pretty important for roleplayers, and are a bit more integral to player identity and style than something like the aforementioned

@@Eradicati0nn LOL for me, horribly wrong is more of a standard. I try to make interesting structures and have watched all of your (and others) 'how to' vids multiple times for inspiration. Unless I steal a build and tweak it, they never come out as interesting architecture. Functional, yes. Interesting, beautiful, creative, very rarely.

I'm not opposed to the end of the battle pass, the real problem is the bazaar. I preferred how it was before when I released a complete DLC like the Architects of Argos Pack and People of the Dragon Pack that came. - 60 Building Pieces. - Decorative objects. - 15 Pieces of Armor. - New weapons 1 for each type. If you released 1 complete DLC per month on sales platforms such as steam, epic, playstore, and the xbox, as it was before, adding content (mechanics) to the game instead of just bazaar, it would be wonderful since many of these bazaar DLCs cost more than the base game itself. This way it makes the customer more satisfied instead of the customer being a sucker. Regarding ages, I would prefer to focus on 3 chapters per year, that way there would be time to make a well-made product and end up quickly instead of pushing an era with my belly. Yes, launch something exclusive to the Isle of Siptah and return with a character transfer or one in which you save up to 2 characters and their knowledge separately. And a system for sending items from one map to another.

DLC packs were definitely a much better deal, a bargain, perhaps too much of one. From all accounts I've heard, the DLC system just wasn't supporting development enough, and I don't think you can really separate the Bazaar from the overall vision of trying to add free gameplay content to the game. Siptah was pretty much a failure because, even though it did add new gameplay content, the requirement to charge seems to have reduced purchases and really split the player base. Personally I think if they priced low, they'd probably move more units, but that's just from my perspective without knowing any of the actual financials. For me, the game was pretty boring prior to the Ages system, it felt the only actual movement was the occasional small update or a DLC pack. I'd personally rather have the game actively developed with free features, though the Bazaar can be vastly improved, it's probably just a long march approach unfortunately

That's the pre-order bonus right? That's confirmed to never be re-released, though I wouldn't be surprised if they maybe remixed it or made something inspired by a similar style. It wouldn't surprise me if there's also some sort of legal precedent for not re-selling pre order bonuses

Luckily there's mods that add those to the game. I'd love for them to be added in as well because pre-order bonuses are lame and their practice should have ended a long time ago.

Bringing them back would be great! Having the option to purchase and complete each battle pass would not only add hrs of game play and reward but a opportunity for us new players to get our hands on the nice items. I just hope they dont bring in the option to purchase said item and done. Instant gratification is game killer for longevity IMO.

I would like the opportunity to revisit and finish old battle passes; after unlocking the pass, just having it permanently unlocked so that the content remains readable and completable at any time. I have almost all of the content from them except for one pass, which I paid for and didn't finish the last 20 or so levels of. Great video though; straight to the point with the news updates.

Agreed, I like the white Arcane pieces but they're definitely a bit more niche than the black/grey Arcane pieces, they are a lot more flexible

it was so nice andy camout with the video and explain some things it really helped a lot and its nice they are not aking devs frome the other game. i really hope for a early early august dev stream to the new age it will be so nice becuse 6 months uuuh that is sorry so long to wait for some news and allso it will be nice we had 2-4 weeks on the beta client so we can test everything out can so they have time to fix it

Hopefully they continue to do at least some communication in this form. Recording a video like this probably takes roughly the same time or longer than a dev blog, but it feels a lot more sincere with this method

Yeah I really liked having things that a lot of people didn't but it's fair that everybody gets gets another chance at it. I was also glad to see that they gave people another chance at getting the watcher armor recently. Good stuff. Speaking of "exclusives", I have both the Atlantean Sword and Conan Royal Armor on my account and every single twitch drops to date. But real talk the best CE collectible I have is the Conan Exiles T-shirt I got from my Barbarian Edition Early access purchase. Now that's something very few people have. Ha! XD

Honestly, if they just make those battle passes available to buy and complete at one's own leisure that would be the most fair. The exclusiveness being tied to FOMO kinda bugs me a bit because it feels like a punishment for newer players and those that didn't have the bandwidth to just throw out money at the time (even if it is only $10). I prefer people having rarities based upon perhaps those initial pre-order backings and also in-game work and achievements - having a thing because you put in the effort and skill to get it is vastly more rewarding, or to show off you were there on day 1 supporting the game.

I would like battle pass content to be available again. There was only 1 season I didn't finish it and it bothers me a lot! Also I'd like other people to be able to get the stuff too. It would be nice if they reimbursed crom coins for duplicates or something

You are the first person to call falling through foundations a bug. All this time, I started to assume it was a feature because it persisted through 4 major patches. It started on the start of Age of Sorcery chapter 4. I just naturally assumed they were never intending to fix it.

The devs themselves mentioned it a while ago as something they were working on fixing, all I can think is that it must be a very complex issue. There's been a few updates since then and no fix has come through yet, and I imagine they're trying to be careful to not break people's bases like last time 😩

So old BP items appearing in Bazaar basically, while there might not be any battlepasses at all. That sounds... great. Just great. Speaking of Dune, I have serious doubts. They showed us trailers, but they didnt show any combat gameplay. Very disappointed on both infos

Although i regular buy an bazaar item , especially if it is a building item or decorative item , and sometimes spend a good amount....... I sadly feel that the removal of the battle pass ( one less thing to do in a game where i done basically everything ) is a bit of a money grab....... Now the only option for new items is the bazaar and they are honestly often very overpriced....... Look at the one now with 4 items , only really nice thing the hammock , it costs 2000 + Crom coins....... It is nice to see old stuff coming back , got my eye on one particular item , the waterfall deco , but the prices are shockingly high sometimes........ It certainly needs some tweeking......

Idk if I'd describe it as a money grab myself, I see it as an unfortunate consequence of the devs trying to do far too much. With a bigger team or more resources, they probably could have sustained a battle pass and make the necessary (and pretty large) improvements to making sure updates aren't broken and actually have good content. I really enjoyed the BP, more than I thought I would tbh, but I think the actual stability of the game is far more important Also, which waterfall deco in particular? It doesn't ring a bell, but a lot of the deco all blurs into one sometimes for me 😂

And yeah , i will miss the battle pass , it was something to do and it had nice rewards...... I like to build in game , i find the resources , i gather them , i build , all in game , single player , no build mode or whatever , foolishly don't even know how to activate that....... This resulted in my last base , which is nothing short of gigantic (: It just naturally came to be and grew with more idea's and stuff i gained to build..... So if i see a building item , or decorative item , i will mostly want it , be that knowledge , battle pass or bazaar..... Now i got all knowledge , and with the battle pass gone , that leaves the bazaar only , which is a shame....... I feel it limits the possibilities.... I don't know what the item is called or when it was introduced , but i am guessing t was a battle pass or bazaar item , since i do not have it........ I think i saw it some time ago , about a year , in someone's video , maybe yours or Wak's , can't remember.......... It is this waterfall cascading down into a a rectangular basin , and since my mega base is build on the cliffs in between Sepermeru and the Dead City i have the perfect spots for such an item (: My base has used all available space , i just use new items to upgrade or beautify what's already there..... And i just know that this item would look amazing in my set up........ Ps. Many thanks for your video's , always love em , another thing keeping my love for the game going , i done everything , yet i love the game still so much , that i do not want to move on..... Conan Exiles is for me really a Top 3 best game of all time..... I wanna stick around longer , it is always a great experience in one or the other way...... Pps. I was thinking to make a video of my base , maybe my whole building progression , for all buildings i have build still stand , and throw the video's on KZbin for others to enjoy , as i enjoy your and others their content.......

I tend to record the audio first then do the build as I have a rough idea of the time needed to cover it, I'm terrible with focusing and trying to talk at the same time, it's all "umm" and "y'know" 😂 No blueprint for this build though, completely off the top of my head

While i understand where youre coming from, i wasnt playing the game during sorcery 1 and 2. Had i known those battlepasses would of been gone forever, id have certainly started playing again. Even if it was just to level those passes and nothing else at that time. Everytime i log in i kick myself in the ass that i missed those first 2 passes, and it sucks not having some of those building, weapon and armor options. 8 think its better for everyone if every item is available. Gone forever twitch drops are an issue too. Atleast cycle back in old twitch drops from time to time. I dont like FOMO

If they sold battlepasses on the promise that they would be limited to that battlepass, then its obviously wrong to change that, regardless of whether you have and want those items or not. Consumers need to be able to buy things that are honestly described.

Stupid decision to bring back old items from Battle Pass. As an owner of all the passes I really condemn this decision. As some exclusivity is lost. They themselves said that the Battle Pass will be only 1 time and things will be exclusive maximum, who had time and took. And in the end they are re-booting and want to give them out to everyone. Bullshit. It would be better to deal with normal Twitch Drops with new armor, weapons, wilderness and other things, rather than trashing old things that must remain only for those who deservedly received them.
