Conan is definitely one of the best late night show hosts. He has a real connection with his guests on his show, unlike a lot of other late night show hosts. He actually talks to them and isn't self centered. Overall a great comedian in general.

And not only that, but also the fact he is a writer so he might be fascinated with King's work. He has proven to be one of the most sensible and smart heads of the new age of Hollywood stars. For me, there's no other late night host.

Theres almost limitless ways to approach this story. Could be a haunted bathroom where a serial murder happened. Could be the entrance to an alternate dimension. That was actually pretty funny. Criminally underrated. I didn't think King even had a funny bone in him. I think that's what caught good ol' Coco off guard. He was so smooth with it too that Conan had to think about it for a second. The quip almost went under the radar.

@@therevolutionwillnotbeyoutubed if you didn't think King was funny then you haven't really read his books. Some are disturbing (Pet Sematary, Rose Madder, Gerald's Game). Some are sad (The Stand, Dolores Claiborne, Hearts in Atlantis). And some anti-government ones (The Stand, Firestarter, The Tommyknockers) and those are the ones that have the most humor. I really enjoy the cynicism of Jim Gardner in The Tommyknockers. You can see a lot of his humor in many of his books.

Although personally, its also cool NOT to know what was in that bathroom....my mind will happily fill in the blanks and write its own fiendishly dark ending. Sounds like a perfect short little number from his 1990s collection 'Nightmares and Dreamscapes'. Are there any May 2024 people here with Kings new short story collection 'So You Like It Darker'?
