Conan is definitely one of the best late night show hosts. He has a real connection with his guests on his show, unlike a lot of other late night show hosts. He actually talks to them and isn't self centered. Overall a great comedian in general.

Theres almost limitless ways to approach this story. Could be a haunted bathroom where a serial murder happened. Could be the entrance to an alternate dimension. Could be a sex trafficking scheme that has people abducted in the bathroom where a secret tunnel was dug. I mean you could really turn this into something if you want

There's a film called Glorious (2022) that's kind on a similar theme, it's a restroom out in the middle of nowhere and this guy is having a conversation with this ancient eldritch god behind one of the toilet booths. The whole film almost only takes place in this restroom, or just outside.

That was actually pretty funny. Criminally underrated. I didn't think King even had a funny bone in him. I think that's what caught good ol' Coco off guard. He was so smooth with it too that Conan had to think about it for a second. The quip almost went under the radar.

@@therevolutionwillnotbeyoutubed if you didn't think King was funny then you haven't really read his books. Some are disturbing (Pet Sematary, Rose Madder, Gerald's Game). Some are sad (The Stand, Dolores Claiborne, Hearts in Atlantis). And some anti-government ones (The Stand, Firestarter, The Tommyknockers) and those are the ones that have the most humor. I really enjoy the cynicism of Jim Gardner in The Tommyknockers. You can see a lot of his humor in many of his books.

Some of the best stories don't have an ending. That let's the listener come up with what's scariest to them. They're the most horrifying.

It’s the spirit of a bullied, “peeping Tom” (one of those pee fetish types) teen who was drowned in an aggressive “swirly” incident. He is now coming through the plumbing to exact revenge, specifically targeting women, because they always rejected him and his disproportionately large nose and were creeped out when he would ask to watch them “do their business.”

So i could have listened to King outlining the story for the ladies bathroom for another hour! My mind was already racing just from the concept. Although personally, its also cool NOT to know what was in that bathroom....my mind will happily fill in the blanks and write its own fiendishly dark ending.
