@@AmokBR Na verdade, também não é assim 😅 o "ch" nessa palavra se pronuncia como nas palavras "Ich" e "Mädchen", porque nesse caso o "chen" é um sufixo (que na maioria das vezes representa diminutivo). Nesse caso seria uma forma de diminutivo de "Bund" (banda ou faixa), e "Bündchen" seria uma forma de "faixa pequena", mas é mais usado pra se referir a golas ou mangas das roupas.

How many I know? You said you know SOME teuto-brazilians. For me, over 80% of classmates and friends have german surnames. And my mother in law and my wife can speak german. So yeah, my kids are half teuto brazilians (and yes, half, because from my wife's side, it's only teuto brazilians as far back as we were able to do her genealogical tree)

I'm from Brazil, I've only been in the US for 6 years and my American husband says I don't have a thick accent like her. I swear to God I don't try to sound American or lose my Brazilian accent, it just comes naturally to me, maybe because I don't speak jn Portuguese for most of the time and unfortunately I have no Brazilian friends or family near me. I go months without speaking in Portuguese sometimes. And of course I have an accent, but it's not as thick as Gisele's or Anitta's, for example.
