The impact her grandmother had on her is such a huge part of who she is. Regardless of the time that goes by after a loved one passes, the love will never go away. Our memories of them get tucked away in the recesses of our brains, that when we speak of them it brings all that love we have for them rushing back. I could feel her emotion when she got choked up and I couldn't help but tear up myself.

I have to say it. I was lucky enough to be at the Met gala this past year and Gisele looked perfectly like what people imagine when they think of classic Hollywood glamour. What was refreshing about Lee Cowan's interview was that it was NOT about looks. That actually, Giselle is a real person, who was very unhealthy and hooked on a cycle of uppers and downers when she had to manufacture that "poise" to feed the fashion industrial complex.
@ClarkRahman
@ClarkRahman Жыл бұрын
@@a.humanrightsactivist I am talking about my impression of her from five months ago and her health journey probably is part of what I perceived. To your point, maybe her health journey is the "doing something right" that I initially referenced and what I should learn from. However, you are taking my statement, combining it with negatives from a different era, and turning "poise" into a dirty word. Poise is not just about looks, it is a confidence that radiates and she shows in the interview. I don't feel bad for saying the lady looked better than anyone else at the Met gala.

You can't "f that and do what makes me happy" when you chose to have a spouse and/or be a parent. Grow up. You have others to think about and take into consideration at all times when you're married and/or have kids. Goes for both men and women. You're also not Gisele with nannies, a mansion and millions in the bank. Mature, responsible spouses and parents leave the "me" mentality to young people and those who chose singlehood and no children.

Giselle called herself a silent model. She said she didn’t enjoy the spotlight and was an introvert, but pushed herself and became wildly successful despite how hard it was as an introvert. Once she left and was able to be home as a mom is where she found her true happiness raising her kids, being in nature, meditation and being present in her life. Love how when she talked about her grandmother and how she could fix anything from herbal remedies etc was so special and she got emotional. I feel like I can relate to her. Respecting elders and after living life both humbly out of the spotlight and in the spotlight she finally feels in her element. I look up to her she seems to have lived the life many women dream of being a VS super model and marrying Tom Brady the most humble and talented football player in history. He survived a lot of heat in his career and I’m glad he had Giselle by his side during that hard time. @@shazzaseesI mean nobody’s forcing Irina to be with him and he’s only 10 years older. The world doesn’t spin around women so stop making men always the villains. It was Gisele’s decision to divorce after all.

Modeling is a job that made her very very very rich. Because of that exposure, she can afford things ane experiences that most people can only fantasize about In these tough, economic times, it would be nice to hear celebrities say how grateful they are for the wealth they accummulated through their high visibility jobs Then maybe it would be easier for us to listen to them share the "real side" that photographers and promoters don't cover.

I wished she spoke, and thought of her comments, a little slower, though. She is so identifiable, yet off course different than me (the average follower), however, we can relate in so many ways. I think she is amazing, and this video must have been tapped at a vulnerable moment. She is amazing!!! Period.
