In this video Paul demonstrated the power and accuracy of the North American Arms mini revolvers, the .22lr and the .22lr magnum. Also, their effectiveness as concealed carry weapons.

Some folks in law enforcement may know the sad story of SC trooper Coates. The trooper exchanged gunfire with a perpetrator armed with a .22mag NAA mini revolver. The trooper was shot once in the armpit with a .22mag while unloading 5 rounds Center of mass from his service revolver into the obese perp. The trooper collapsed and died almost instantly since the bullet hit his heart while the fat SOB with 5 rounds of .357 in him pace around the patrol car for several minutes until he collapsed..yet lived and he is serving life in prison. Moral of the story and the reason why most police force would show the heart wrenching dash cam video to rookies..Never Under Estimated A Guns ability to kill you.

I have the NAA PUG 22 mag. Never leave home without it. I do have higher caliber handguns that I carry but I find my myself going for the PUG most of the time.

A mini revolver in your pocket is better than a 44 magnum at home.

Seeing this video sent me directly to an online gun dealer, only to find, you guessed it...There are NONE of these NAA mini revolvers to be found. Sad. Used to have one. Sold it. Never sell your guns.

Caliber doesn't matter when you shoot them in the face.

My father used an NAA .22LR to stop a home invasion. There were two attackers, one with a handgun, who fired several shots at my father. My father returned fire from cover with the NAA at about 10 feet. The round went through the attacker's shooting arm, hitting the artery, then grazed his sternum. Did it put him on the ground? No. But it caused him and his partner to decide they'd had enough, and to run out.

As a female I'd like to put my2 cents in....Since I suffer from slight arthritis and carpel tunnel I had police officer friends (1 retired) tell me to get a .22....it kills, and not just rodents. This is no diss against Paul, his video was good. What I'd like to add is that being armed, is being armed. Sometimes testosterone gets in the way and they say the bigger the bullet the better chance you have? That's all well and fine, if you can shoot the caliber. And, if shot placement is precise. If I pull a 9mm and can't hit the bad guy, who do I hit?? But, if I pull my .22 and hit the bad guy in the throat, he's going down. Shot placement is what stops the threat. We don't always need to kill to stop a threat. And I'm not sure about many of you reading this, but I'm assuming taking a life isn't what's it's cracked up to be?? The bottom line is that we ALL hope we never get in a situation where we HAVE to use a firearm, but if we do, we for sure want the first bullet to count. I can shoot a .357 all day long but I might as well throw the gun at him, I'd probably have a better chance of hitting him. Again, this is just my opinion...I own a naa .22 magnum short barrel and the same in 22lr and magnum with a 2.5 inch barrel, both sidewinders. I'm always armed and ready to protect myself and my family. My hopes are that if I ever DO have to use this it won't take me more than 5 shots to stop the threat. If it does, then God help me.

Absolutely love my NAA. Today I took the dog for a walk in gym shorts. Before I bought it I would have been unarmed. Even in gym shorts you barely know the NAA is there. I also love the craftsmanship in it. It's like a watch. As for reloading, you can buy an extra cylinder for it if you're that worried about it, but you have to send the gun in to get it timed. Most of the time it's my backup gun so I'm not too worried about reloads for it. It's my "get off me" gun.

My brother just bought me one as a gift because he knew I didn't carry my 686 everywhere. Super sweet and caring gesture and I look forward to true EDC

I think I'm speaking for a lot of people here; I really appreciate how objective and non-biased your videos are. You are a man who seeks truth, God bless.

Wow, someone who actually knows how to handle and shoot a single-action revolver! I see video after video of people fumbling with a single-action, so it's refreshing to see someone who clearly handles guns enough to have become "muscle memory." Paul clearly knows how to shoot a SA using the off-hand thumb to do the cocking - very fast, very controlled.

A classic and why I come back to watch again and again... I just ordered a Black Widow - it has a longer barrel and a bigger grip but still easily conceals in your pocket. It's for exactly what Paul says = when you can't or don't want to carry your EDC.

I have been carrying the .22 Mag version of this gun (often referred to as a Black Widow) for years. As Paul says, it fits nicely into my jeans pocket. I am Ex Military and feel that if I ever really need to use my little Magnum, its going to be up close and would be kind of like driving an ice pick though someone's head...that works for me.
