Your work is refreshingly organic, and the fact that you are so articulate makes it a joy to watch and learn from you. I'm excited by all the possibilities that crafting tools offer, but I'm numbed by the 'clean-cut, mainstream' approach. Thanks for being a beacon of originality in a sea of sameness. The tribute to your Mother is nuanced/complicated. I like that. My mom now lives with us, and we do art together as often as possible. I have become her memory, and she is softening my heart.

Wow! Thank you for these incredible compliments. I think I'm starting to find my creative voice, and I deeply appreciate this shout out of support - wow! And thanks for sharing about your mom - despite the aches and pains and losses that come with old age, the freshness, youthfulness, and enthusiasm with which my mom was able to approach our day o' craft was something to see. Glad you have this time with your mom - it's precious.

This was truly lovely and enlightening. I looked after my mum then mum-in-law arrived and tho' it was hard work when you have 4 children I wish I had them back, so it is lovely hearing the softness and love you have for your mum. :) xxx

Your work is beautiful...and so is the love you have for your mother. Hang in there. Memory is a tricky thing in older people. You said she had surgery recently. Anesthesia can take a long time to leave the body of older people. This happened to my Grandma. She couldn't remember how to use her TV remote control. Mom had to change station for her even though she had always been the Queen of the remote. About 3 months after the surgery, she asked my mother for the remote. She operated that technology just like she had before the surgery! It was like she had just woken from a long nap. Unless she has been diagnosed with some memory ailments, maybe her memory will return. Hang in there and keep up the beautiful work!

This is lovely & uses a technique I hadn't thought of trying before with a material I've used otherwise for yonks. (Masking Tape) At 15:23 mins this vid stops (you show a still for quite a while), & you say that more of this 'organic vascular effect' is shown in the vid immediately previous to this one. All I see there, is 'Easy Cards with Sizzix Pop 'N Cut Dies ' could you direct me more precisely to to the 'more organic vascular effect' video? Because I just love what you're doing with this.
