Same here. I came here looking just for that. Working on an illustration, giving it some shading, but there's no way to clean up what bleeds out of my shape. If there was something like preserve opacity or paint inside, that would go a long way

I have a surface book and I bought the pro version of this app. Very good response and the pencil is amazing! It seems a real pencil on paper but the app needs more updates (hard eraser, line and circle tool...)

does anyone know any drawing and/or animation apps for windows that have that fill brush? I'm in love with it and i can't seem to find any with one that smooth. Medibang has it sort of but you have to click for every direction you change and its very inefficient for round shapes.

Seems like I am one of the few that knew there were differences between iOS and Windows and bought it anyway to support development. Hope you guys keep improving the windows version so that it will eventually catch up with its counterpart on iOS. I assume a lot of people refrain from buying because its not as the same as the iOS version. Is there a date or year where both versions will have the same features/appearance? Also maybe it's nice to let users vote on which features to work on first, I for one would love a bucket fill tool!

im using concepts on my surface for drawing, but whenever i draw, it works fine for a second but then all of a sudden it changes to adjustments tool or whatever in the middle of me drawing. I didnt buy adjustments so of course i cant adjuste anything, but theres still a screen that pops up and says this feature is available for purchase and i cant turn off adjustments and its really annoying.

I think this will be a great app to use. I'd like to suggest adding to the export type the svg setting. I use that in both my Scan N Cut device and in my embroidery software. I can currently use jpg but with svg, it doesnt need to be converted.

First off, GREAT WORK!!!! I am a paying user because I believe in this product team and direction. I've posted this comment elsewhere but think it needs attention: THE one MAJOR feature that is missing is keyboard toggles & shortcuts!!! Currently, there is no way to pan other than completely switching the tool with the stylus on a non-touch Cintiq. ( and I just found out a mouse scroll will zoom, which can be mapped on the Cintiq) What the natural expectation from most professional artists moving from sketchbook or photoshop or even Leonardo will be that the space bar will toggle the tool into the Pan tool and toggle back on release. If I had my way, the addition of a control key would allow zoom and or rotation ala photoshop/sketchbook/leonardo.. these expectations are as basic as Control X, C & V being cut copy and paste. Best would be the ability to customize keyboard shortcuts. but I realize these things come one step at a time. PLEASE include this in your next release or I will have to unsubscribe until this available!

I love this app. Thank you for this product. My feedback, I would like keyboard hotkeys, so I can map the color picker to a side button on my wacom pen. This will make it so much easier to blend and pick colors. Also, I would really like to have a full color spectrum available. Copic is nice, but if I could switch between a copic and full color spectrum interface, this app would pretty much win me over against 500 dollar programs. There's nothing like this out there on windows.

So much to love about the software, and now android and Windows versions are fairly similar in features. A few simple additions and it would be a usable professional tool. For instance, it shoud work with tablets like the XP-Pen. It should also have a shortcuts, eg Alt click to have a colour choose eyedrop. Almost there...

Hello Cpncepts Team , i would probably buy the full version but there are some major bugs : palm rejection is horrible - at least if the the pen is near the tablet pc you should turn off all gestures the layer menu is outside of the screen , i see a little bit of it in the left corner but the layers are below the edge of teh screen so i cannot use it at all

I have a little question, you know how could can normally see the cursor when using a laptop with a mouse? I just bought the Pro version and have just found out that the Windows version does not have a Colors Menu to create custom colors/palettes. I thought I finally found the perfect art app for Windows that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Cmon a full color spectrum is a fundamental feature.

No. Any finger gestures will not work. Panning with your finger for example. Using the app in 2020 with an Intuos Pro is non-functional because you cannot pan the canvas without a touch screen.

Concepts does work with external input devices such as wacom or other drawing tablets. The app is optimised for devices where the stylus input happens directly on screen.

In Concepts for iOS, you’ll find the text tool either on the tool wheel, or under My Brushes in the Brushes menu (where you can change your preset tools). Tap an active tool or double-tap an inactive tool on the tool wheel to enter the Brushes menu. Scroll through the tools to find the “A” or Text tool, then close the menu and tap anywhere on the canvas to bring up the keyboard. Concepts for Windows and Concepts for Android do not have a text tool at this time.

Actually i was so impressed with what concepts could do in many youtube video...without any doubt i just purchased the pro version concepts in Windows, then only i realized how big the difference and lack of so many basics functions which make me very disappointed. Can't believed so many basics functions wad missing including drawing circle, grid, water color brush( which i like so much..)... Etc. When i checked back the comments here, all the missing feature have been in demands since 1 years back.. Just wondering how much efforts concepts have put into Windows version compare to IOS. Maybe people using Windows doesn't deserved these basics features. Concepts team don't even reply a timelines commitment in updating these features in Windows. Sad!

I just bought it for the pencil to draw and put the drawing in a real art program...the windows pro version is pretty bone dry and given that folks have been complaining about it for 2 years its pretty obvious what you think about windows customers....I dont recommend it to anyone using it on windows...with ipad version you get a bunch of stuff like brush editing ect and all you really get for 10 bucks is export import lol.. However it does draw nicely on windows better than ipad I never really liked the feel of the program with apple pencil... I couldnt get that magic touch out it so i dont use it for ipad...but it will do for making sketches and then porting them over to a more competent program..

I have purchased the Windows 10 version with PDF import / export. I tried to activate the color-menu but I can't find anywhere anything how to activate the colors menu. Is the color-emnu only available with the monthly / yearly subscription? Is it a feature that is not available in the windows 10 version? is it a bug that your developers made? The colors you put together might be the best compromise about mainstream-colors that promise the best economic success. But Art is FREE. So why the heck do you make it so hard to adjust colors to personal taste???? For highlighting certain aspects of my drawings if I do live-explanations to my students I would like to have the most PUNCHY colors a color-screen can create. These "too much weed smoked soft-colors" are not suitable for this purpose

The color menu feature only exists on the ios version for the moment. We agree that you should have complete freedom to use any colors that you want, and we're constantly working on bringing all the features from ios to android and windows. For the time being, you can access more colors by importing an image and using the color picker.

Concepts free version for ipad pro is complete and nice have ruler tool and you can import images. The concepts WINDOWS 10 VERSION isnt complete, you cant not import any files, its doesnt have ruler tool. I buy the year subscription thinking it will have all, like the iOS free version. But it doesnt. Dont buy the pay version and not subscribe the yearly version. Its very poor. NOT RULER TOOL , AND YOU CAN NOT IMPORT ANY FILE FROM YOUR LIBRARY NOT PNG NOT JPG NOT TIFF. LOOK NICE ON THE VIDEO. THE WINDOWS 10 VERSION IS BAD. Dont get me wrong the ios free version is nice. And complete. But the windows version very disappointed with the yearly subscription. I was thinking it will be great because is a yearly plant but is so bad. So i dont recconmended.

Great on iPad, meh on Windows. No Wacom support. No Windows multi-touch support. Would be great for those of us with a Cintiq Pro and more screen area than an iPad. Oh well, back to Sketchbook Pro.

I'm appalled that there aren't enough videos for concepts windows but yet concepts ask for a monthly subscription. If the app meets the hype, why not have more information videos? Secondly, it crashes for windows 11. How come there isn't an update yet. It just seems as if developers are on vacation. I can't tolerate app services that ask for money but aren't on top of bugs and fixes.

I have paid for full version of Concept just because of watercolour brushes. somehow, I don’t have it in my tools set. So disappointed!

Concepts for Windows is a work in progress. The water color brush only exists on the iOS version for now. Our goal is to bring in all the same features as on our iOS version. We aim to update regularly with each update bringing new features to the platform. Our next major release will be adding PDF Export / Import.

It's been 3,5 years and I payed for this app on windows, thinking I'd get the full experience that I saw others use. But 50% of the features are missing and I am really disappointed. You're saying it's for architects, but it's completely useless for architects without scale and objects. What is going on? You're making people pay full price for half a product. At least add a disclaimer!!

Guys, dont upgrade, dont buy it, dont go pro, because in either version the free one, the pay one, or the subscription one, you cant not import any files, and missing the ruler tool. I got a year subscription and im very disappointed. Also i write to the guys of concepts and they told me that they will looking on that thing but for january.
