3 years later and we still don’t have any gradient fill tools, no true layer masking, no customized font options for text, no text along a path, no symmetry or mirroring tools, no nodes in vector lines for manipulating the paths, no blending/smudge tool, no color drop tool, no multi point grids or curvilinear grids, no infinite color wheel, etc. I love the infinite canvas in Concepts, which is why I keep coming back, but waiting 3+ years for these other essential features keeps making me feel like I am partially handicapped during every creation in Concepts. Which is why I keep wandering away over and over to other vector apps that have these features, like Affinity, Graphic, Infinite Designer, etc. But if Concepts had these, I’d never use anything else, because I like the interface.

Concepts is fine for sketching and concept development. For advanced drawing, one needs photoshop (or similar pc software) anyway.

That little trick of copying a line, changing it to eraser and transferring it to a layer for shine on glass is brilliant. Thanks for all the tips!

Please do more lessons like this, Concepts is a unique app for drawing art in vector, because “drawing feels” in use is very strong.I already buy it. Pleas add one small feature, scratch sounds from pencil/paper work, i mean its very important to hold on natural drawing feeling an Concepts App esthetic. Sorry for bad English)

I know this is a very old video, but I'm hoping somebody can help me. I use a windows 2 in 1 laptop, and I just downloaded concepts to start my journey into digital art. However, it looks NOTHING LIKE THIS!! I can't find ANY of the tools he's using, it's really frustrating. Is that because he's using an iPad?

Hi, there is no tool or shortcut to do this, however, you can select the strokes/objects you'd like to move to the top and drag and drop them back into the same layer.

Very interesting, but you need to slow down when selecting the tools so that the viewer can understand what selection was made. Do this at a high speed will not help. Otherwise, the example drawing was well done.

*You can set the Video-Speed in KZbin 4 times slower (0.25), Problem solved ;)* *This is how i check the Delay in Drawing-Apps too ;)*

Hi, at the moment the blending watercolor brush is only on iOS. We are focused on bringing all the iOS features to Windows. It takes time to bring the products together, but we're committed to making it happen. While we can’t give an exact timeline as to when all of these features will be implemented, our team is working on regular updates to bring the features across. You can see a current comparison here: concepts.app/features You can try blending manually by lowering the opacity of your brush.

Exporting in svg or png reveals all of the masks that were used to "erase" the edges for a cleaner look into white blobs. Not good.
