Great demo on the saws. The pour turned out good and it showcased that not all pours go by the book; you gotta be ready for problems. Great job!

I really hate it when the callback load takes forever to get there and what you've got on the ground already is extremely stiff and nearly ready to trowel. It's definitely a freaking pain tying it all back together. Your broom rarely turns out right at that tie in point.

Milwaukee says 1 battery will only cut 6’ at full depth. I guess it depends on your usage but if you have more work to do then 12’ of cutting which is what the 2 battery kit will give your gonna want gas. Plus the gas units are lighter. You can buy stihls most powerful 16” saw for nearly the same price and it weights less.

I've used both and i'll take the Stihl over the competition all day long. Not sure how old your Stihl is or when it's had it last tune up but it seemed a lot slower than my 16" . Also , you didn't specify if you were using the same blade in each saw or if they were both new blades or of the same width. No matter what i appreciate your channel, your work and the fun video. Thanks :) @@OdellCompleteConcrete

I really enjoy watching your videos, you do amazing work. I was just figuring your sq footage and 5” thick concrete and I come up with almost 11 yards. Can you let me know how you figure your yardage, I just don’t want to be doing it wrong where it’ll cost me. Thank you for showing your work, like I said it’s really amazing work. Oh, you should be proud of your son, he’s following right in your footsteps.

Were the blades of equal life? The blade on the Milwaukee looked new but on the Stihl was the blade glazed at all? That would not be a apples to apples comparison.
@OdellCompleteConcrete

The blade is the same all the way through the diamond tip. I could put any blade you want on the Stihl and bet you whatever amount of money that the Milwaukee will win. Let me know how much you want to bet.

Good demo between the saws, however, it's not a good comparison as it is a battery operated vs gas and two different type of blades. The biggest issue is with the blades. I think it would have been a better comparison if the same exact blade was used on both saws.

RW meadows makes a product called EVAPRE which you can spray on to slow down the concrete hardening process. We use it up in Canada on the job I work on. It’s like spraying on water but it doesn’t weaken the surface like water does. It’s good to have some on hand just incase the concrete is setting off too fast, or if you have a cold joint like this. It could save you. Good to have some on hand just incase. Another one is sika aquafilm that does the same thing.

Just a damn shame that they can't make any power tools here in the U.S.A. anymore! I used to get a Milwaukee catalog delivered to my home every year and across every cover, in big type, it used to say. "MILWAUKEE HEAVY-DUTY...MADE IN THE U.S.A.!!! Those days are gone! And U.S. tradesmen have to just shut up and keep supporting China because there are NO alternatives! Pretty pathetic...Love the videos!
