Some of things you did reminded me of when I was in the US Navy and living in San Diego. In California there are rules that apply because of the local conditions and because of earthquakes. In Michigan where the Family lives, we are not allowed to do some of those things because of very cold winters. Vice-versa the rules here can't always be used there. Example: We must bury our water lines very deep because the frost goes deep here mid-winter. And, the gas lines here have cutoffs, but they do not normally (some exceptions) have automatic shutoffs tripped by earthquakes. Also, our heating systems are required to be more robust and energy efficient. In San Diego all we needed was a simple wall furnace and that was plenty.

@@OdellCompleteConcrete honestly I’m watching as many videos as I can in my spare down time. Around 1-2 a night. I have learnt so much about quality control! Environment control! Different grades and types of materials used for prevention. Taking into account wet/dry conditions. The general knowledge you have is outstanding! What is also amazing is, it’s not just concrete you’re vastly experienced in! It’s so much more. We are in New Zealand 🇳🇿 I’m a builder of 23 years. I’ve sent your channel to literally all our trade partners we work with. We have so much more to learn. Blessings and always be safe. 🙏

6/19/24..A+ on yur multi phase job their in AZ. I am in New Orleans area..so that location is waaay different, low pitch roof houses, no grass but gravel ground cover. Then cinder block & steel tube as fence...with very nice decorative silhouettes of Palm Trees featured inside of 2 rectangular entrance gates. Very clean looking finished project. Another great job David! Stay safe...& dehydrated while working in that heat! 👍🍺🍺👨🔧

Ussually the shutoff and meter are in the same box at the street. I've never seen it added to the side with another box. Kind of anoying. Maybe the original meter was smaller as it was manual and the new "smart" water meter is bigger and so they had to add the second box for the valve? I would think the city would have gone cheaper and just use a smaller round shutoff box. ...But what do I know? lol. I know the newer houses where the bigger water meters are installed now, they are using a much BIGGER box (about twice the size of that small one).
