Join the concrete crew as we finish up our last large project of the year. We still have a couple smaller concrete projects to complete and then we are in for another long Wisconsin winter. I always have mixed feelings this time of year but there is a lot in store. Enjoy!

Its still crazy how Ryan has to instruct EVERYONE on the job site on EVERYTHING that needs to be done. Not one worker takes the lead and focuses on the job at hand. Just imagine this crew, if Ryan did not show up for the day!!!!!!!!! wow!

Back in the day, I worked for a guy who owned a commercial kitchen installation company. We would show up on site with the equipment on trucks and trailers, unload it, unbox it, assemble it, set it in place, attach wall shelves, assemble the walk in cooler-freezer and get everything ready for final connection by the plumbers and electricians AND seal everything with silicone for Health Dept inspection. I was the lead installer and the Owner never told me what to do......He never had to instruct me on what to do. I was an employee and NEVER needed instruction from the "BOSS".

Small stuff like sitting in their trucks until exactly their start time show that. Why should Ryan have to clean out the form truck in the morning. After that, they knew their jobs and when we got to the job site, it was all work and no BS.....because the GC was always looking for someone to "blame" for delays and we were never the cause of their delays. I empowered the other guys to do their work and improve critical thinking and especially problem solving. Its like having kids, if you never let them DO and always do for them they never learn to think on their own.,
