A fairly cheap way to keep your motorcycle condensation free is to put a small tubular green house type heater underneath the bike , then we put cheap painters dust sheets over the bike, then a cheap blue tarp. Cost about £40 for the set up. We keep 4 motorcycles dry with one tiny heater. Its like a heated tent. Thanks for your videos and hope this helps 🙏😎ps i also use acf50 too 😊

Actually a lot of insightful commentary in a short video. I think people who routinely have negative comments make creators like yourself question the value of their hard work, time and money. It is disappointing not to have your efforts appreciated but then to have a few folks pile on with sometimes unjustified criticism in infuriating.

The problem stems from the fact that all bikers are humans and with that there is always going to be a large number of assholes, just because they like to swing their legs over a bike can't change that. Some humans love the feeling of feeling superior and when they form an opinion, well that's it, doesn't matter if the bike that's the apple of their eye is the biggest pile of junk ever fucked together they'll look down on others and try to convince them the piece of shit they're wobbling around on is what everyone should be wobbling around on. 😂

That's the problem with unlined corrugated roof panels as well in a garage, in the winter the condensation freezes , then as the temperature rises throughout the day , it starts dripping down onto the bikes , that was the issue in my garage anyway. As someone has already suggested I got myself some fleece lined bike covers, and you can use the less expensive method of cotton bed sheets with a tarp over the top , just air them out occasionally. On the haters I don't get these people? What's wrong with them? You guys put a lot of your time into producing these vlogs , you deserve better! 🤷♂️

The roof does have the anti condensation lining. It’s not a drip problem but the cold metal of the bike, combined with warmer damp air change that causes it

Over the course of my life, I've owned and ridden Kawasaki's, Hondas, Husqvarna's, Harleys, and Triumphs. The Harley was a chopped '48 hard tail with a Pan/Shovel engine and suicide shifter that I attribute to pulverizing my lower spine. In spite of that machine nearly taking my life on numerous occasions I've yet to eschew videos regarding Harleys (nor do I seek them out). What has ultimately soured me on the brand is a change in brand culture here in America. The whole "Ride to live, live to ride" attitude has been replaced with "ride a dozen miles to the nearest coffee shop and back, then spend the rest of the day rubbing the bike with an old cloth diaper in the garage" attitude. I get it, considering what a Harley costs these days, and if this makes the current crop of owners happy (they tend to be less blue-collar and much more white-collar professionals these days), then more power to them, but I'll stick with rolling-up 10k miles/year on my Triumph. 👍

Every time I see the R18 I would like to have one more, especially as the price of a very low mileage example is getting closer to within reach for me. I look forward to your videos; Ignore the moaners. What actually causes condensation in a shed is the bikes radiate any heat out into the surrounding air and the metal gets cold. Condensation forms when air with a high moisture content (the ambient air in shed , especially on rainy days) gets cooled on contact with the cold metal. When air with a high moisture content is cooled, it can no longer contain so much water so some of it condenses out onto the cold bike. It's the same process that forms dew on grass on clear nights - the grass radiates its heat off in to the clear air and becomes colder than the air in contact with-it. The cooled air gives up some of its moisture which is deposited onto the grass as dew.

My bikes are always rust free in the garage here in the UK. Under the bike cover (and underneath the bike) I have a metre long tube heater and an electric dehumidifier running all the time. I also have an Optimate battery charger connected all the time. There is usually about half a pint of water to empty from the dehumidifier every 3-4 days. I was at the BMW showroom in Welwyn yesterday, looking at the Roctane. Staggeringly beautiful bike. Would love it if they also did a chromed out version (not a fan of the blacked out look). I test rode the R18 first edition and classic about a year ago and loved them. Currently riding an Indian Springfield Classic...at 6'2" it's wonderful.

May I suggest you keep the bikes vulnerable metal areas , including frame joints , lightly covered with the product ( or similar ) as you showed permanently from Autumn to Spring , it will pay dividends .The chrome these days , is often a victim as it is porous, and the old way of copper and nickel plating underneath as a protective barrier is not applied now on most machines and many cleaners just rub the surface away further.Great content videos and always much enjoyed , disregard the stupid comments.

I think the Royal Enfield connection has such a dramatic customer base that perhaps comparing a super Meteor with a sportster or other custom machines including second hand bikes which outsell new bikes dramatically may be a route to huge numbers..picking a new bike and comparing with a similar older model may draw in a new crowd . I can't afford a Harley or a BMW R18, but a Kawasaki Vn 1600 or Honda Vt is within reach and the similarities are more than skin deep. I am currently researching older bikes whilst keeping an eye on the options arriving on the new bike scene is driving me towards alternatives that are not restricted by A2 power limits or Euro-nonsense restrictions.I think the channel is Brilliant because I love motorcycles regardless of who makes them and their shape, size & power, but what fits me and what I can afford is a very different matter..Brick -built heated-garage is the way forward 🤣🤣!!

Maybe look into a small solar panel and a couple of 12v fans to get some airflow in the garage plus a couple of those damp crystal holders that are sold for caravans, they are cheap and last ages. We have a large unheated shed full of gardening equipment and these measures work a treat at minimising damp. Even on dull Winter days the fans spin fast enough to move some air with, of course, zero running costs. Sitting the bikes on a piece of carpet, as has already been suggested, also helps.👍

Motorcycle rides are a vast and even some what fickle lot at times. Its also depends on a lot of variables, if they actually own a bike or are in between bikes and everything in between. I have had a few Harley 883s and I still have an 883 Iron that's 2017 with around 40K, KM. Its what I would say was the best version of that line. (but it will go soon) From that segways to my next bike The Royal Enfield 350 Classic in Sand (Military) with the green & brown old school retro style. Now as people maybe be downsizing, due to the costs of living, and value for money and that fact that not all of us can just ride a bike all day (would be fun if you could) we need a car to well do your job (that thing that we do in order to purchase the bike and stuff in the first place) I like the value of a really good quality small bike, that I don't have to do a 45 hour a week to afford. Does that mean I dislike Harleys, No Still do. At the end of the day I just want to to enjoy the hobby. The reality is this cost money, compiling a you tube channel, running a business, going to Uni and them things called a teenager that are the biggest money reducing agent to the adult population. Some times people like to jump before they stop and maybe realise oh hang on, maybe there are real people on the other end (Not AI) and they have put in and done a good job. (T-Shirts, Stickers & Group Rides also can earn income, I run a Mens Health Group : Ride for Therapy)

I wish I had known about it a long time ago, because I would have applied it to my wheel spokes. Now they're starting to rust, it's going to be a long and tedious process of cleaning them up, one at a time, and I'm not sure whether to apply a Rustoleum clear coat or the ACF50. I wonder how well ACF50 adheres to spokes or am I wasting my money for that.

I get the reason for the ad's and respect the effort you both put in. KZbin are the winners as there is so many KZbinrs putting in loads of effort for little reward ( other than for KZbin or rather Google who own KZbin) Not sure of the long term solution other than long term sponsorship which as you said is almost impossible unless you have 100,000 of subs. What I don't like is when KZbinrs endorse and then move on to the next sponsors competitive product. I don't hate Harley's just don't appeal to me so don't watch them I'd never dosrespect your efforts by complaining about something that for me is free. Hello 'Ol Man, Thank you for your video, I too have a problem with damp in my garage where I keep my Sportster. I have a leather petrol tank cover and rear mudguard cover installed on it, the damp creates mold to form on the leather which needs cleaning off regularly. I had all my tinwear blasted and powder coated about four years ago due to a rust problem. My garage is an ex-Council owned building which is now sixty years old and it needs a new roof, the current owner is a local housing association, the don't want to replace the leaking corrugated asbestos roof. I know your going to spain so not very relevant but I would demolish that shed and build a new prefabricated insulated steel cladding one with an A shaped roof. Those sheds have vents under the rain guttering that lets in airflow but not the water. Even so all my bikes get the acf50 treatment after a good clean every three months - don't let that stuff get on your brake discs though - use brake cleaner for them. A good kerosene blow space heater is also a good investment - always use it to dry my bikes after a wash or if they get caught in rain. Use the air hose to blow all the loose water away first of course.

People that complain about free content on KZbin are the ultimate Karen’s of the world. Easier said than done but just ignore them. Love the Harley content 👍

Love your videos but have very little interest in Harleys 12:20 . Loved bikes all my life....love going to bike shops kicking tyres but when went to a HD dealer couldn't be bothered going looking around...all looked the same to my untrained eye. Don't like Power Ranger bikes either but do love Japanese and Triumph retros. Always enjoy your videos and appreciate that we all love different styles of motorbikes.

I think you get a lot of condensation because you have a metal roof and door, had the same problem when i had a metal shed i used to have to mop it out in cold weather. Don't worry about the Harley haters they've always been there. I like your take on biking, i personally have a 1999 Harley night train, an Enfield 500 Tribute Black and a new Gold Star Legacy version. Keep up the good work.

Another good video Sadly though some people will complain no matter what but they are the minority. I love the look of the fish taill exhaust, a very classic look on a beautiful bike. Keep up the good work.

Great video mate! My Royal Enfield will be outside my apartment building whole winter, under the cover, and I hope with some occasional drives on sunny dry winter days. I expect mild temperatures this winter here in Croatia. My bike is occasionally cleaned, and I use silicone spray for majority of parts to get a coat of protection, as silicone will deflect moisture and water. Regarding, sponsorship integrations, just do it guys, and I love that, as you recommend the product, which is very helpful, from oil and stuff for bikes to bike gear and helmets.

Roadworks are the R18's worst enemy. That aluminum engne cover is soft, and the stones pepper it with indentations. I bought it to ride it so not to worry, it's part of the adventure. Great bike, though. I dont regret buying it nearly 2 years on, and it's still a dream to ride despite the re sale value.

You've got a great channel that people enjoy. Who cares about a few moaners. Also, I hate harley davidsons but love almost any other brand. The more triumphs on the channel the better!
