I really like the Condor machetes myself. Was looking at the Makara. Just can't get myself to spend over $150 on a machete.

That looks great. I have been enjoying my Knight's Riding Sword I got from you a couple of days ago. I am using it like a machete, lol but it is working well. I haunt the riverside and have been cutting trails through brush with it. I could see the design of this Condor machete would be much better. The leather handle wrap on my knights riding sword was starting to peel today, so I can see the handle of the Condor holding up much better. Yeah that thing almost looks like a wakizashi!

I have sheaths for my machetes like that but made in Costa Rica. My machetes are from El Salvador but I bought them in Costa Rica too. The shesthes are very nice quality. I like that blade design. It should be handy on a farm or in the woods. I got used to wearing a machete on my hip when I lived in Costa Rica and I learned how handy they are for chopping down weeds or ruining a venomous snake or whatever. But mine were cheap and I'm not afraid of using them. That one in the video costs a lot more. I'd hate to beat it up.

@@VantaClawzYoshimi handle is much longer than this. Yoshimi feels more like a Dao, Burmese feels like a Wakazashi. There’s a Condor Yoshimi review on our channel 👍🏻

Thank U for the info 👍 the cutting test was realy nice but cause the most people I guess like me (Bushcrafter/Survivalists) would more be interrested If this machete can cut branches small trees etc. without any break outs... A real Machete field testing would bei great... Greetings from Vienna Austria ✌️

Found a Condor Plan A blade at a small town pawn shop downtown for $40. It was around $150 - $175 originally I believe. Cleaned that blade up and it’s my ultimate bushwhacker EDC. Micarta handle with brass pins, full tang, Kukri Bowie hybrid and tough as sht. I may try another Condor out. I need something better for briars and thorns in the Ozarks.

I own one, love it. What do you mean by soaking the 'tommy'? Is that the handle or the complete machete? I can't find a translation for what the tommy of a machete is...
