I have found that the Lite can fit everything in the current IFAK and more in a smaller form than the full size one, but you have to be creative in managing the space and the TQ holsters ride outside on the sides.

Current SFA certified, I assume? Reason for lack of D-ring on the "light" version is that that pouch should never be restrictively attached to you; you need to be able to move independently of a trauma victim you're working on, or the pouch needs to be independent of you if it's being used on you in a trauma situation. Understand these aren't really "First Aid" kits, in a Standard First Aid sense; they're designed as IFAK and Treatment Pouches for a combat trauma scenario, and would hold totally different equipment than what you have in yours. You would never be "tossing this to a buddy" - you'd be using it directly on a casualty, or it would be used on you. This is why it's tear away.

Robo Murray Airsoft On my larger kit that could be tossed to a friend. Working security I have my first aid certification and someone else may be dealing with victim and I may be holding back crowd so thus I tear it off my bag and give to them. Ifak is used on yourself and really in that scenario everyone should have their own thus why I wanted the d-ring to have a lanyard attachment point to myself. If you look at Ifaks such as the chinook series and some of the kits issued in the military they have lanyards and when I set up the smaller kit it wont have anything similar to my larger kit. I however have priced out and building my own is cheaper.

With the larger kit, are they all that size inside regaurdless of the brand? I have SFA with CPR/AED HCP level, through the Canadian Red Cross. I’m planning to buy a few, to replace the side kits I have on my back pack. But, I’m not sure if I can get the Colours I need, from condor. I’m looking for Red, and black. Mabey Ornge, if I get a thord one.

Size wise some brands are the same but the interior layout may be different. As for colours Condor does red and black but they don't do orange. Other brands do though.

Have you put the full size pouch on a plate carrier yet? If so is it too big?
@WhispTech5 жыл бұрын
The full size one I attach to backpacks and bags. I personally would not use it on a belt or plate carrier due to its size.

Does condor use yk zippers?
@WhispTech Жыл бұрын
Hard to tell since some times they don't have the pull tab that is labeled ykk. But everything that does have the pull tab says ykk. Ykk is a generic brand anyways and majority of companies use them unless very cheap quality.
