There's condos from 5/6k right up to 30k..suit any budget. But one of the most important things to consider is how you intend to get around... Only a handful are within walking distance of shops, market.. Bars, restaurants etc.. All the others you'll need transport of some sort.. (bolt and bike taxi is not as widespread as in pattaya).. So a motorbike is ideal, cycle possible.. But something... If not this narrows down your condo selection quickly..

If coming for longer period, I'd recommend a month stay at the Asia Apartments (8 to 10k plus electric)... Then you can look around the area, condos and not rush into anything...

Thanks Martyn you have a wealth of knowledge on the market there , did you buy your home , is that possible or is renting the ideal method and cheapest option

​@@Crows0960we built our house on land we bought in 2004... 220m to the sea. Call in if you're in BS again.... I think renting is the best option for you....
