I love how she incorporated Donna Summer’s I Feel Love. It was orgasmic, since the sound of Future Lover’s was inspired by Georgio Moroder’s production of the iconic 70s disco song-which was more electronic than disco. Way ahead of its time.

I saw this live in 2006 and that opening was absolutely breath taking. She was at her peak and Stuart Price, the band (Donna Delory was still doing background vocals), the dancers... pure perfection.

Great reaction! Do the whole tour! I don’t know that i would call this S&M tho. She’s a jockey, the women are jockeys, the men are horses. She was inspired by her love of riding, and she had recently recovered from a broken arm caused by falling off of her horse.

WE'RE HEREEEEEEEE I remember watching this tour, I stole the DVD from one of my cousins... he was selling some things and I stole this one. LMFAO. #NOREGRETS I had that DVD for a couple of years actually, cause we didn't have a DVD player, but when I got my first computer, it was the time to watch it, and I was GAGGED. Little gay, 13-14 year old me was LIVING, it was so mindblowing for me to see. I already knew of Madonna, and my mother told me that she was known as the Queen of Pop, but it was until I saw this tour through my PC screen that I understood why she was the Queen of Pop. I never questioned it, it was more like "oh, okay." but after this tour I was like, "Oh, now I understand and I agree." And watching this tour led me to discover another of my divas, Donna Summer, I remember that as a kid my aunts used to play Donna's music, and some of her songs were engraved in my memory, but I couldn't remember her name, it was the sample she did of I Feel Love that led me to dive into Donna's music and I got to that song that was in my mind, there were two actually, but the first one was, 'On the Radio'. Donna and Madonna are my favorite Pop Divas, I consider Donna as the Mother of Pop, and Madonna as the Queen of Pop.
